QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 04:57 PM)
Lidge has been sensational for quite a while now.
I'd say he has been a tad above average this year, especially considering how bad he was the first two weeks.
I like the 670 commercial with Aj saying he doesn't know why they aren't hitting. Maybe cuz he has the same free swinging approach every at bat and doesn't adjust.
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 04:42 PM)
His best game, coincidently, was against the White Sox last year.
He sucked in the World Series, right?
Kip Wells has been worse, Reyes just took the heat.
QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 04:38 PM)
There is nobody to trade this year that makes us better next year.
My cousin in St. Louis says the Cards maybe down on Reyes. Wonder if Buehrle would bring him in a deal.

To Soxtalk that said he blew, I am really starting to like Terraro as a 4th OF.
You're not alone. He plays hard.
QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 04:05 PM)
why? then we'll be so excited that a win could turn it around, and then our bats wont even show up tomorrow, we'll lose 8-0
All Sox fans should want the team to win, even if they suck like they do. It seems you would be better off leaving and not watching.
It's possible to be pessimistic without being downright miserable.
QUOTE(PoopsThompson @ Jun 8, 2007 -> 07:24 PM)
You know, it's kinda embarassing, but what the hell is a sandwich pick?
An extra pick between the 1st and 2nd round you receive if a a player leaves your team via free agency, but depends on how good he is.
At least no DP for AJ.
Cardinals signed RHP Troy Percival to a minor league contract.
The 37-year-old Percival will begin his comeback at Triple-A Memphis. If all goes well, he could assume a spot in the St. Louis bullpen in two or three weeks.
Low risk, high reward. sigh
