  1. QUOTE(The Critic @ May 20, 2007 -> 12:47 PM) Re-break it, please. I stand by "good". I find him entertaining, but I've never had that "can't-miss" feeling about his matches. Watch it, or I will wish you well in future endeavors from Soxtalk!!!
  2. If Crede is hurt, DL him and bring up Fields. I do not want to see Pablo at 3B for two weeks.
  3. A tear just rolled down my cheek when Comcast showed the Milkman rounding 3rd and scoring.
  4. The Tigers color commentator things Curtis Granderson is an equal player as GARY Sizemore. Just thought it was funny.
  5. These pre recorded, one on one interviews on Comcast are so poorly edited. Gail Fisher was interviewing Cotts and one song was playing in the park when Cotts was on and another song was on when Gail was on with her audio.
  6. QUOTE(The Critic @ May 20, 2007 -> 06:31 AM) For all his faults, HBK is a hard worker and a GREAT performer. Fixed.

    A sty in my eye

QUOTE(mr_genius @ May 19, 2007 -> 03:51 PM) they have eye drops at Walgreens for std's. I had one a few years ago and the stuff worked really well.
  8. QUOTE(GOD @ May 19, 2007 -> 05:33 PM) look at every good team over the last 5 years and they had good bullpens. we knew that was a major problem in the offseason and K Will did nothing to adress it except give up on Cotts who had two bad months in 3 years. On paper, KW did improve the bullpen. That is all he can do in the off season.
  9. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ May 19, 2007 -> 05:30 PM) that was pretty much on ozzie for some reason bringing in logan. aardsma's era jumps 2 full points. rofl. To pitch to Jones. They countered by PHing Lee. You can't take Logan out again without throwing a pitch. Sheesh!
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 19, 2007 -> 05:29 PM) Oh so you guys want the Sox to go to there two/three best relievers: Jenks/Macdougall/Thornton. Last I looked at one point this season most of you f***ing morons thought Jenks was done, MacDougall was god, than after a couple bad outings he's trash and should never see another game, and well Thornton is an absolute joke (oh wait, he's now all of a sudden pitching decent). So if it were up to you guys, Mac would have been the closer a while back (than released after his last couple outings), Jenks would have been down in the minors till he could hit 99MPH (since it matters so much) and Thornton would be long gone. Ya, you guys are real f***ing brilliant with your over-reactions. Actuallu, MacDougal only has one "L".
  11. QUOTE(The Critic @ May 19, 2007 -> 05:29 PM) Ouch. Grand Slam. Close the book on this one. Is anyone surprised by that? Must be nice to have one of the best hitters in the game on your bench to put the nail in our coffin.
  12. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 19, 2007 -> 05:25 PM) Aardsma need to show up. Stop blaming Ozzie and stop s***ting after every game. This team isn't out of anything yet a lot of you f***tards think the season is over. Thank god none of you are running the team cause we'd have a s***load more problems considering people would be released after every bad game they have. Go Jason, it's your birthday!
  13. If he doesn't hit a slam, I'd be shocked.
  14. Guess Thornton should just pitch the 8th no matter if it is against righties or lefties.
  15. Maybe people will get off Ozzie's ass now. No matter who he brings in, they blow it.
  16. Gameday said out(s) for the Soriano at bat. Assh*les!
  17. Guess you shouldn't pitch Theriot away. Seems he always looks that way. He is a good little hitter.
  18. Remember that Seinfeld episode where Kramer drives the car to see how far he can go below the E with the needle, that is how I feel with Javy in the game.
  19. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 19, 2007 -> 04:47 PM) Disagree strongly for about 100 reasons but...Uribe hits lefties well and it one of our better hitters, Uribe cannot f***ing bunt, Ohman cannot get righties out, etc. Wierd, a few pages back, everyone says Uribe is horrible and can't hit. Which is it?
  20. Bunting was the right call, shame of Uribe.
  21. Wow, Farmer is smart. "It's gonna take at least a half a dozen runs to win."
  22. QUOTE(caulfield12 @ May 19, 2007 -> 04:35 PM) Unless he pulls an Arnie Munoz and we have to use our bullpen for 8 innings. Oh my God, do NOT remind me of that game! That whole Montreal series was a nightmare. Garland goes from perfect to the loser.
