QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 10:44 PM) Very similar to the WKU game from earlier in the year to be honest, get off to a big lead and just kind of coast in the 2nd half and hold on. Good win for us, definitely not a bad loss for WSU but that loss to UNI at home is a killer, just cause you can't lose at home. The 0-2 start is a very tough hole already because the Valley is so deep this year that it's going to be hard to sustain success over a period of several games. I never thought(still don't) that WSU was the best team in the Valley or even in the top 2-3, but they're a good team and they'll have their say in this race, no doubt. Yeah, how much longer do you have to keep that sig? We want Shaw and Mullins!! -

Salukis knock off Witchita State by 5. SIU may have played their best all around game of the night. Shockers lose 4 in a row. -

Salukis up 38-23 at halftime over Witchita State at the SIU Arena! Salukis look really good on offense with Jamal Tatum on the bench. I like Jamal but he does tend to dribble too much and not move the ball. Falker rules, BTW! -

QUOTE(Dan @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 06:07 PM) Black Christmas. My buddy loves bad horror movies and he hated this. If he hates a horror movie, it has to be bad.

I'm 27 and last night was the first night I drank Pabst Blue Ribbon. Not bad. Made me feel like I was watching wrestling on Saturday afternoon in the 80s.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 06:15 PM) Michigan showing why they weren't selected to the championship game. Which has zero to do with preparing for this game. The fact they are playing like sh*t doesn't change the fact that Michigan had a gripe to play on Jan 8. -

Lloyd Carr just proving again that he can not get a team ready for a bowl game after a long lay off while other great coaches like Carroll can. And no, I'm not implying Carr is great by an means in any aspect of coaching. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 06:01 PM) Hmm... that looked like the ball was coming loose before the ball his knee hit the ground. Yup, too bad the ref blew the whistle prematurely. Oh well. -

Henne seems to be dropping too far back, making it hard on his offensive line men. -

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jan 1, 2007 -> 03:12 AM) Mine is to stop drinking. LMAO! Not! That was a joke. For real, I want to drop 15 pounds and develop a sick 6-pack. I plan on signing up at this place called "Xsport Fitness." They're open 24 hours a day. So it'll be very convenient for me. Off 21 in Libertyville. I know some people that go there and it has its pluses and negatives. The fact that it is 24 hours will keep it around and they have reasonable prices. One thing that ticks some people off is that they make their employees make advertising announcements every few minutes or so. I go to the Centre Club in Gurnee, they have one in Libertyville as well. Costs more than Xspors but more of a sociable enviornment.

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Dec 31, 2006 -> 11:00 PM) It's actually pretty catchy. Today couldn't have gone any worse. I have been one of Rex's biggest supporters, but Griese needs to start the playoff game. Rex has some of the worst mental toughness I have ever seen in a QB. The defense worries keeps me worried too, we made Ruvell Martin look like Jerry Rice. The only positive from this game is Benson, He's gonna be our starter next year and he's gonna be a stud. Is Orton an option? Griese made one good pass but wasn't much better. Cedric Benson was the only one who showed up. Doug and OB were on the mark. When Rex is bad in a game, he does NOT get better. He doesn't make adjustments. I have also been a Rex supporter but if he has a bad 1st quarter, you gotta yank him because he hasn't proven to make changes in a game. Green Bay played a very good defensive game. The really played well, taking away our short pass game and we didn't really adjust to try and extend the field too much. I could handle losing this game, as long as there was an effort, but tonight was brutal and I am very pissed.

Is that Pink song for Sunday Night Football annoying or catchy? I need help.

Trains or shuttle buses are the only way to go to a Bears game.

QUOTE(knightni @ Dec 31, 2006 -> 04:53 PM) Even though it was illegal, that reverse supplex on Chad Johnson was pretty sweet. It was Greco Roman/German style.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Dec 31, 2006 -> 02:37 PM) I tune out of that PCS thing every time Kevin Nash opens his unfunny, outdated and irrelevant mouth. Bob Backlund is such an obscure person to bring in, so it does at least fit the "huh?" factor of Nash's skits. The whole Nash vs. X-Division started off interesting and entertaining but obviously went sour when Nash got hurt, and yes, he did get hurt. I haven't seen much of the PCS stuff but to call Bob Backlund obscure is way off. He was one of the best technical wrestlers ever. Back in his hayday, he was one guy who made wrestling look legit.
