Piper is definetly one of the all time best. Some people never realized it, but Piper was never pinned in the WWF until WrestleMania 8 against Bret Hart in 1992.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Nov 26, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) This offseason really f***ing sucks. Our inactivity sucks, but no way in hell I want the Sox throwing money around like other teams are and at those specific players. Way out of control. I'm sure we'll see some trades in Dec or Jan.

I called Comcast and we got refunded. The replay was suppose to be on but it didn't and I don't care. Awful PPV. How do you job the top heels on Raw like they did. HHH writing his matches? Brutal stuff. And I'm willing Matt Hardy will be jobbing on SD in a week or so, which would suck. Matt is one of my favs right now. I bet Booker/Batista was a s*** fest as well.

As Lasley and Cena were double DDTing Show, the signal went out and hasn't come back. Looks like I'm gonna complain and get a free PPV. Thank God cuz this sucks. DX team squashing RKO team was awful booking.

QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Nov 26, 2006 -> 04:00 PM) Not even close. Is Smith even going to go in the first round? Quinn is the most NFL ready QB to come out of college since Manning. I think you're both being ridiculous. If Smith falls to the 2nd round, I'd be shocked. Quinn will go early just because the draft won't have many great QBs coming out. They are both top 15 picks most likely. Smith will have to shake the legend that mobile QBs can't win it all in the NFL. -
QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Nov 26, 2006 -> 03:54 PM) I'm ordering Survivor Series tonight with a friend. Looking forward to seeing CM Punk go longer than five minutes and the First Blood match. We are as well. Hoping they let the 5 on 5 matches be good lik ethe old days and not the 10 minute small package a thons they have become. I expect the Spirit Squad/Legends to be kind of goofy. First Blood should be decent.

QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Nov 20, 2006 -> 08:48 AM) was it a female cop and were you filming an adult movie? Last night, I went to a gas station to fill up and inside was the hottest female cop I have ever seen. She had a pretty face, black hair in a ponytail and the tight uniform showed off her body. And no, this wasn't a porno...unfortunatley. QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 25, 2006 -> 10:32 AM) I'll be interning w/ the kane county cougars over the summer That's awesome. Congrats. I had a cool internship as well and it always helps when you get into the place you want.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 25, 2006 -> 12:32 PM) BTW, I just want to say that Lou Holtz just might be the biggest homer espn has ever had on their network, and that's saying something. He knows he is though and they joke about it. P.S. Fix your sig. -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 25, 2006 -> 12:22 PM) So our game tomorrow is at noon on espnu which of course I don't get at home. And the thing is, I doubt any of the sports bars are going to have the game on with football and such. Anyone have any suggestions? Radio feed online 4 me. -
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Nov 24, 2006 -> 08:46 PM) "For Your Consideration" is god awful, yet everyone around me was laughing hysterically. So few things on TV or in film are lol funny nowadays. I'm one of the few who don't really care for the Christopher Guest mockumenteries. Spinal Tap was fine but never understood the legend behind it.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 24, 2006 -> 08:59 PM) Sell Outs all over Texas. The McAllen High Bulldog game sold over 5,000 tickets in a couple hours. Where do they play the state title games in Texas and how many classes do they have? -

QUOTE(MSHAWKS @ Nov 24, 2006 -> 10:42 AM) Watching game film and going to the next opponents games are standard practices for football coaches during the regular season. Your tone sounds as if you think the St. Rita staff invented the process. In any case, I hate all Catholic schools, particularly Mt. Carmel, so I hope LZ and WWS roll this weekend. Then we can hear Mrs. Lenti and Mrs. Sharp and Mrs. Kuska b**** about the multiplier. I have relatives who are Mater Dei alums, and I have a feeling they will complain about the multiplier when Driscoll is done with them. -
NFL games on the NFL network
Brian replied to WhiteSoxfan1986's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
To answer the question in the first post, I have NFL Network so it is fine. But I know Time Warner in Wisconsin does not and if the Packers are on NFL Network, cheeseheads won't be happy. But NFL games are for Sunday and 1 on Monday night, IMO. I am traditional. What's next? Tuesday Night Football? Money talks though. -
And Ryan Howard made only $350,000 this year

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 24, 2006 -> 12:46 PM) Gotcha. Hopefully they can hang on. Yuck. We continue to look like fecies this tournament. Up 7 at half. Am I allowed to take back my Matt Shaw love, but give it back if he starts playing better? -
Miami fired head coach Larry Coker on Friday. Coker had a 59-15 record at Miami and won a national championship in 2001, but the team went 6-6 this season. He will be allowed to remain on as coach if the Hurricanes accept a bowl bid this year.

I wasn't even close to existing when both JFK and Bobby Kennedy were killed, but my mom always told me, still does, at how different things would of been if they had not died.

Gumble=bad. Multiple times he was like, "Larry Johnson just across the 20, maybe got to the 21." And the ball would be spotted on the 25. I think I may have him typecast as a news reporter cuz his voice was also bothering me for no reason. -

Horrible call near the end of regulation that put Arkansas at the line. Total act job. That said, Tatum makes a free throw at the end and SIU wins. -

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 22, 2006 -> 05:40 PM) . Should be one heck of a game, as Arkansas is young but they're extremely talented. I'm pretty pumped for this game, can't wait to wake up tomorrow and turn on espn 2. GO DAWGS!!!!! Yes! Watching SIU basketball instead of Detroit and Miami...priceless! Glad we're out of the Anchorage tourney. If we lose at all this weekend, it is still a quality loss, if there is such a thing. P.S. Wake up before 11am, bum. I will have been up and back from the gym by then. -

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Nov 22, 2006 -> 01:48 PM) I thought you didn't have time to watch the E! Channel, thats why you TIVO "Girls next Door". Bridget is my favorite! Sounds like a T-shirt. Kendra is probably the popular choice, i bet.
