Sad to see Pollock of Cincy out for the year with a broken neck. I remember him as a bad ass at Georgia and had a solid rookie year.

Just saw a clip of the Orton RKO that beat Carlito. Pretty neat looking. Carlito tried doing that springboard off the middle rope and Orton caught him mid air. Very smooth.

I'm pulling for Frank as well, but this is a non story. WE WON THE WORLD SERIES WITHOUT HIM!!! I'm tired of people saying how bad it would look if we miss the playoffs and the A's make it. That is so far off. It looks bad that we don't make the playoffs on ourselves.

Brantley is far from a doctor, but being an ex pitcher, I would expect him to know something about arm injuries. He said he did some research and thinks this elbow thing could be bad and Liriano could miss up to a year and a half. I really hope that is not the case. But Tommy Jon surgery means at least one year and it looks like Liriano is at least headed for that. Very unfortunate.
