    Name the Movie!

For some reason the only movie I think of with that guy is Dirty Dancing. I know he just died and was on Law and Order.

    Name the Movie!

It was "The Virgin Suicides" BTW. Good movie IMO. I felt sorry for James Woods. Kathleen Turner always pushed him around. The book continues a tad after the movie and the parents get divorced after the girls commit suicide.

    QUOTE(Soxy @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 02:53 PM) I saw it, can't remember the name. About a bunch of sisters? It'll come to me. . . You're very warm.
  4. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 11:33 AM) Might be a reason why Kenny has been hard after him for a while. The Sox seem to be good at picking up mechanical flaws or tipping pitches(JC), would not surprise me if the Sox picked up on this, thought they could fix it and that was one of the reasons they've wanted him for a while. Mullins Returns!!!!!
  5. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 02:36 PM) Wrong. he's one of my favorite actors. Watched Along came a spider and Kiss the Girls over the weekend. Shawshank Redemption was on AGAIN, this past weekend. Couldn't turn it off again.

QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 02:08 PM) Now what do you have against Kathy Griffin...? Loud, obnoxious, not funny, need I go on?
  10. Thome Career Splits Unless my eyes got crossed, those are what is printed.
  11. Thome career stats at US Cellular: .286, 210 AB's, .382 OBP, .982 OPS, 50 HRs. /drool
  12. Any easy one.. One on the right?
  13. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:37 AM) The problem was that when people hear 'war movie', everyone expects a rah-rah, blow everything up and show tons of blood movie. That film aimed a little higher, too bad it expected people to...um think. That was not directed at you Brian. No problem. I know what you mean. I appreciated the look of the movie but never got into the characters and plot. Movies are like sports and music in the way that everyone has different likes and opinions. That is what makes em great.

    Gone before their time

QUOTE(juddling @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 01:47 PM) one show i always liked was "The Mole" on ABC. a very well produced show that got hammered by the likes of Survivor. AGreed. That show had a cool concept and really cool challenges. I remember my jaw dropping when it was revealed that the girl was the Mole in season 1. The Celebrity Mole sucked IMO.
  15. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:04 AM) Chris Penn didn't have the looks to be a star, his brother apparently did. The Thin Red Line was a good movie? Coulda fooled me. I remember it being nominated for a bunch but I was bored stiff in the theatre watching it. I remember there was some controversy that the Academy Nominated it because it was Mallick's first movie in year and they did it in honor of him.
  16. Because of work, I haven't been to church since Christmas, and I know that is bad. Lent has snuckup on me. I never really give anything up. I thought about giving up meat as a whole and just eat fruits and vegetables, but I'd never make it.
  17. QUOTE(juddling @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:19 AM) I know there are some SIU grads and students on here (myself SIU 87-91) and i remember ordering LaRoma's pizza. not sure if it's still there but that was some DAMN good pizza. a bit greasy but still good. Quartro's had great slices you could buy but for some reason they couldn't capture the same taste in their full pizzas. I guess that's why they used to make all of their money on the slices. !!!!!SIU!!!!! I loved Quatros, but you had to finish it that day cuz it got all hard in the fridge so you couldn't eat it second day. Italian Village had very good, greasy, thin crusts.
  18. Disown. My last little league summer, we were the White Sox but out colors were black and gold. So the whole team went and bought cheap Sox hats and highlighted the white logo in gold. It was fun.
  19. QUOTE(Texsox @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 09:40 PM) Must be a newer place, have you been over to Bill's or Pat's (Mundelein and Grayslake) Bill's Pub? Of course. Kaisers has been around forever. Off Route 21 near Fatman's.
  20. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) That's cute. If Stevenson could of won a sectional in yoru tenure, you would of as well. Warren will probably win it again this year, but I'm too old to rush. Not to mention I'm working.
  21. Not in Chicago per say, but I like Kaisers in Gurnee.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) Ridiculous floor rushes continue. I stormed the floor once in high school after Warren beat Zion in 1995 to win the Waukegan Sectional.
  23. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 12:35 AM) Lunardi was just on college gamenight. He has SIU and IU in now, so that's nice for me, BRIAN, and greasy. Fixed it.
