I love the NFL, but isn't it too early for NFL Live, not to mention taking time away from Baseball Tonight. This is garbage! And now they are giving Steven A. Smith his own show. Geez!

Hawk commented on something that I speculated for a month or so now. Freddy doesn't seem to take his bullpen and mound warm ups very seriously. Just plays catch with the catcher between innings instead of getting a feel for the conditions and finding his release point. I think the team as a whole played like a bunch of dummies today.

Lost a heartbreaker in my summer league basketball game, then jumped in the car and heard about this. Loss doesn't hurt as bad now. Can't say the same for Carrie's shoulder.

Just for fun, I looked up these Robertson splits. During the day he is 0-3 with and ERA of 4.18, 29 hits in 23.2 innings and 17 R, 11 earned. Away games he is 3-3 with an ERA of 4.20, 46 hits in 49 innings along with 23 earned runs and 21 walks.

Listening to Stern this morning, and Artie was talking about how he was giving advice to Will about placing a bet on the Tigers today because Freddy has won his last 6 starts and is due to lose, along with Robertson having a low ERA. I tried calling in to get on and tell them than Freddy is lights out during the day so I wouldn't place that belt but they were going off the air in a few minutes. There goes my 15 minutes of fame.

I don't like our chances cuz Steff started the game thread. What a jinx!
