QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 04:37 AM) (saw it Friday night) One Nurse Says to the other nurse, "I'm going for coffee" meaning that the there was a nurse at the nursing station. Plus, how did Eastwood AND Freeman get into the building without being checked in by security?? And once Maggie is discovered WITH HER AIRHOLE UNDONE AND THE MACHINE TURNED OFF why aren't the cops alerted?? as for Maggie giving up? any thoughts on that? very disappointing movie. I think you need to suspend disbelief. Anyone who looks this far into things needs to get a grip.

I get pissed when I try and pull an inside pitch and it is a weak grounder or pop up the other way when it should be a hit.

I created Iguchi and than tried to start a fantasy with the roster download but he doesn't come up under the FA's. Anyone help? How do I get Iguchi in after I create him along with the download that puts Maggs and Delgado, etc on their teams?

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 11:20 PM) Jamie Foxx and Martine Scorsese are, without a doubt, two nominees guaranteed to win their categories. Scorsese's past nominations, director whom won the award: -2002: Gangs of New York. Roman Polanski (The Pianist) -1990: Goodfellas. Kevin Costner (Dances with Wolves) -1989: Last Temptation of Christ. Barry Levinson (Rain Man) -1981: Raging Bull. Robert Redford (Ordinary People) :headshake Scorsese has been robbed multiple times. Definelt should of won for Raging Bull and possibly Goodfellas, but Costner did deserve it for Dances With Wolves.

QUOTE(danman31 @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 07:15 PM) Simeon beat Marshall and Westinghouse beat Von Stueben in the 2 semis. The championship game will be 7 pm tonight on WCIU. Warren vs. Evanston LIVE today at 2pm on WTTW Channel 11. -
I love Scorsese but Million Dollar Baby is probably the best of the bunch. I think it will get best pic, dir, and probably Swank. Foxx probably has best actor locked up.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan56789 @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) Roster update is out now Looks good, the sox roster is exactly the same but still. I downloaded one this morning, but no Iguchi so I figured it was still an old one. Never thought to look if Maggs was on Tigers and such.

QUOTE(orangekrush88 @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) There are some strong rumors citing they are and the Taker match certainly is a good indicator. Although I doubt they will either, it would just be a stupid move to turn him so quick. Also the cage match at NWO was terrible, they hardly even used the barbed wire, it was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. And it wasn't like going through the ring hurt JBL he did have enough strength to crawl all the way through the bottom of the ring in under 3 minutes. If they ever ditched the brand extenstions, there are only a few guys from SD I would keep. Angle, Rey, Guerrero, Cena, and maybe Booker or RVD. I stopped watching SD about a year ago. I just read results.

QUOTE(Cali @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 06:35 PM) That's hardly new. I remember when ECW did that in a Taz vs. Bam Bam Bigelow match back in '98 I believe. Yeah, it's happened numerous times. Nothing big.

Anyone else do the mini batting game? I don't want to start a dynasty until the new rosters are ready, so I have been addicted to this. Got to round 9.

QUOTE(orangekrush88 @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 02:38 AM) Terrible, I can't believe they are going to turn back Orton to heel, they ruined his career. Now they are going to try and fix their mistake. I doubt they are. I bet he just challenges UT as a way to "step up", or something.

Let's keep this thread to talk about WrestleMania 21, taking place April 3. HBK vs. Angle has been a match I wanted to see for years. Even when HBK was out of wrestling. This could go down as a classic.

QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Feb 24, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) 13 was also I was there and it was awful. Only one good match, Austin vs. Hart. I saw instead of AllState, hold it at United Center or even Miller Park.

Berroa was brutal last year. Wasn't he even sent down to AAA?

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 24, 2005 -> 03:31 AM) I like that the strike zone is always not dead on, it can be a ball and called a strike. Pretty cool. I argued a call like this once, got tossed and than I couldn't make any moves. Bench coach is not controlled.

SIU knocks off Northern Iowa in Carbondale. Northern Iowa beat Southern the past 2 meetings. If Southern beats Witchita State this weekend at home, they will win their 4th straight regular season conference championship. -
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 23, 2005 -> 10:02 PM) Wow, just played my first game, Shingo's frisbee is basically in the game, or they at least nailed it. Try going fastball 1st, then do the changeup, with Shingo, it's UNHITABLE. You aren't kidding. The frisbee is AWESOME! Of course, I struck someone out on it and was laughing my ass off, than on the next pitch to the next batter, I miss my spot and the guy hits a 410 foot homer to tie the game in the 9th. I lost in 12.
