I think the 30,000 Hummers per year that are sold don't do as much damage to the environment as you might think. Especially considering that alot of them are bought by people with way too much money on their hands, and don't end up driving them that much anyway. Besides, the Prius is now beating the Hummer in sales, so some people are giving up their Hummers.
