  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 07:19 PM) Let me get the straight. The CBC airs a left wing show blasting Fox News and O'Reilly responds to it. Who fired the first shot? The CBC is afraid Fox News is going to make them even more irrelevent than they already are. To quote that master wordsmith Nuke_Cleveland, "f*** them". CBC will always be #1 in Canada, I don't see your point. EDIT: On further research no they aren't... sort of. But FOx News won't be a channel everyone gets and in a country where there are more liberals, I dont see why it would be widely acquired.
  2. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 29, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) This is from a country who, until very recently, allowed Al Jazerra on its airwaves and banned Fox News. f*** them. Banned Fox News? I didn't think it was banned.
  3. I watched a documentary the other day on the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) about US media considering accusations of right winged media and left winged media. Anyways the documentary would obviously appear left wing slanted, but they seemed to come to the conclusion that it was contrary to current popular belief a right wing media . You can refute that if you want but the point of this point is to attack people like Bill O'Reilly and Anne Coulter. These two people, as displayed in this documentary didn't seem to have any intelligence what so ever, and blatantly hate on Canada like we are an enemy. Basically I have declared war on FOx News as they blast us relentlessly and it's in my opinion unf***ingacceptable. LOL Just know that pieces of s*** like those two are lower than the quality of this post and they do more to further the hate for your own country as well as ours by you. Get rid of them. article about O'Reilly respoding to the documentary http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...illy050129.html

  5. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 11:08 PM) Absolutely hilarious video of the Bush Whoring Network (FOX News) whining about critics of the inauguration... http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2663486?htv=12 $40 mil for an inauguration when we got troops without adequate supplies in the war -- she's got a point. Sorry if I threadjack, just saw an inauguration thread and didn't wanna make a new one.

  7. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 12:00 PM) Let me preface by saying I'm not sure about this president's sincerity on this matter, but I'll gladly take a God-fearing man in his position over one that rejects God. I see no problem with that.
  8. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) Kip, you're allowed (encouraged even) to not pay attention to Reverend Graham, the man who is on record as having estimated the size of heaven as only 1,500 cubic miles. Looks to be standing room only for history's several billion Christians (kneeling room for Catholics of course). Then again, if Billy is that in that touch with the celestial real estate business, he may have insider knowledge that W really was the Big G's pick to click. The meek will inherit the earth, but apparently the dumbasses get America. That's my point, why would they attend something that he speaks at?
  9. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 11:55 AM) God forbid the president be a religous man. OHHHH NOOOOO we can't have that! That's fine but when it's the focal point of every speech it makes me sick.
  10. QUOTE(mreye @ Jan 21, 2005 -> 11:15 AM) I don't see a problem. How bout this one from Billy Grahm at a National Prayer Service in which George W. Bush attended. courtesy cnn.com
  11. Quote from Bush at Celebration of Freedom concert What the hell? Who writes this jibberish!
  12. 14 more dead in Car bombing Sunnis apparently behind it
  13. Democrats delay vote on Rice and Gonzalez http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/commo...55E2703,00.html Personally I really don't know what this means, and why were there only 18 people in on that vote for Rice? What position do they hold?
  14. http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/01...main/index.html Playing politics is going to cost a lot of lives. Where is the need for having this election while the country is still in a state of emergency?
  15. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 06:31 PM) I actually like the way the site is now, as long as this one is still available for good, then I'm all for what everyone else wants in terms of adding additional skins. I'll probably stick with this one for good. I'll be sticking with it as well. Besides, my avatar and sig aren't tuned correctly for any other skin, because I suck at making them.
  16. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jan 20, 2005 -> 12:24 AM) Uh...Kip -- Obama folded faster than Superman on laundry day to approve Condi Rice to her position. :puke okay But If Kerry/O'Bama can't beat the Republicans I don't know who can. But Kerry won't get another chance anyway.
  17. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) I'm pretty sure Greasy linked to the thread I was going to. Here's the best one by far --- Best 1-2 combo in the bigs http://photos.imageevent.com/dreamkast/mlbb/fed.bg.jpg I'll leave this on the main page rather than moving it so that more people will see it. Haha I remember when I first saw that one. I was just like "What the faaaaaaa"
  18. QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 10:51 PM) i'll watch it...i heard it was gory...is it?? on a scale of 1-10 Well I've seen the goriest of the gory so I'd say 7/10 for gore.
  19. Saw Assault on Precinct 13 tonight and I wanted to like it and I think it was good, but it just didn't do it for me. Yah I know that doesn't make sense. I'll still reccomend it, as it is at least an above average action movie. 6/10
  20. Anyone else see something bizarre about whitesoxrumph's post?
  21. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 19, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) That's John Kerry believing he still has some sort of political future. I think he believes that he didn't win the presidency becasue he wasn't seen as a "strong" figure with concreate convictions. This notion is misguided. He lost the election because he doesn't have a hangout down on the farm in the south, and is seen as elitest. He's trying to build a solid record of desent against the Bush objective for the next 4 years, hoping that will give him a stronger platform to launch a campaign from. The sorry thing is, this is an easy vote. it's clear that Condi has more than a little culpability in the Iraq/misinformation debacle. That only 2 people stood up to block the advancement of someone who's done nothing to deserve a promotion is sad. That those 2 did so, probably, largely thinking of their own political futures just illustrates how f***ed up the entire system is. John Kerry and Barrack O'Bama in 2008 My pipedream
