I do agree with your statement that many of the uninvolved countries will never join, but I believe the idea that it is because John Kerry says the war in Iraq is a failure, is a flawed idea. Simply, because politicians who are leading their countries know what it takes to become a leader and John Kerry is trying to do what it takes to become that leader. Whether it ends up being the right way to become that leader we'll see. Personally, I believe what is keeping Germany and France out of the war is purely public opinion, for them to get into anything pre-rebuilding process would be political suicide. Good post Jas. In my province(your equivalent to a state) smoking is banned in all public places indoors. You can only smoke outside or in your own home. First this ban took place in our major city of Winnipeg then just recently province wide. Oh yah and all our night clubs and bars have gone out of business since this new ban. Just kidding.

Sky Captain really isn't doing very well. That's bad news for fans of that new style of film making, it's also bad for the upcoming Sin City which is also done that way.

He's not the kind of guy that's going to come in and turn this franchise around.

Bush got beat tonight, get over it.

Well other than bumbling and stumbling and rolling his eyes throughout the debate what did he have going for him??? "I Know how the world works" For all those people who constantly call Bush an idiot they were certainly provided with some more proof to back that up tonight... Like they needed it.

You can only call a guy a flip flopper so many ways and so many times. Kerry was confident and brought up some interesting points. He also made sure he didn't always look like an arsehole when Bush bashed him, I couldn't say the same thing for Bush tonight. Hats off to Kerry tonight.

This movie seems to be mostly about his younger days in the army. I absolutely have to see it, but I was surprised it only came 8th in the box office. I think it will hang around for a long time though.

That's what I've been thinking all along. I guess when the admnistration lies as much as they do I can't help but be suspicious of them on just about everything.
