To be honest I think this may really fire up Billy Koch. He's obviously going to be a little bit like "I wouldn't have let that happen". And I know the next time he gets a chance he's going to show that he wouldn't have.

I may have gone with Jackson, Adkins, or Shingo there but I didn't think leaving Politte in there was stupid. And I definitely didn't think Politte was getting tired just lost confidence and had a mental block and just couldn't get it over any longer.

Seeing as the score was 7-3 I don't see it as an error what so ever. Ozzie had to be thinking that even if Politte let a runner or two on base that his two horses would be able to finish em off. Of course they didn't but that's the way it goes sometimes! Great to have baseball back!

You are forgetting Mark Redman. He'll be the man in the 4 spot in the rotation and I believe Oakland will be starting out with Harden in the minors because the #5 spot does not need to be used right away.
