  1. Why do you skip over all of his posts, many of them have very interesting information. Seems like ignorance to me, you have to look at both sides!
  2. As I'm sure many of you know on Tuesday George Bush asked the United Nations for help in the rebuilding effort in Iraq. This is not what bothered me. What bothered me was that after his speech was over the entire administration left the general assembly. Don't have respect for the other speakers and just listen to the speeches. I'm assuming no one heard about this on American news. You go and make a request than go and disrespect everyone in there, real swift. This is just another obvious reason for the anti-american sentiment all across the world. Here's the link for the video on the story. UN Bush video I was pretty disgusted at this, and I think you guys as Americans should be represented much better than this.
  3. Well with that the season comes to an end. There were some great moments this year but in the end it's just 3 straight years of failures by the Sox. We have to get rid of some of our bashers and get some speed and some contact hitting.
  4. -Well Bartolo Colon is kind of a mystery, he doesn't really act like he's really pumped up. Buuuut that might just be the way he is and he might really care, I just don't think so. -And I just don't think that Robbie cares that much about winning anymore. "Been there, done that" -Willie gets one at-bat a month, not his fault. I really think he loves to play and does have a lot of heart.
  5. I would take all of those names off of the list. This is my list Robbie Alomar Bartolo Colon
  6. Well all I got to say is Robbie Alomar is not the answer. You need a better than 260 hitter with 12 stolen bases as your leadoff hitter.
  7. I'm just tired of everyone praising Robbie, he's been nother more than maybe a mediocre leadoff hitter with great defense.
  8. Oh Robbie that's okay your a great team leader!
  9. The Yanks don't want to give up Johnson, but for a great player like Maggs they might. I would want a really good prospect with that duo though.
  10. Stros getting hammered 4-0 by the Giants.
  11. I guess I'd have to see that to believe it. First you have to get into diving position and I'm pretty damn sure that you would be decellerating into the base instead of staying the same speed or a slight acelleration. And lets not forget the drag factor and the injury factor.
  12. You have got to get me that quote, that's hilarious.
  13. I just saw the play where Robbie bunts and just gets gunned down (Manuel then proceeds to get tossed). What the f*** is he doing headfirst sliding? It's been scientifically proven many times over that that slows you down. But he's such a great veteran that no one would ever tell him that doesn't work.
  14. Bajenaru was a reliever for the Barons this year. He was very effective and got 14 or 15 saves. I believe but am not too sure that he started the season at Winston-Salem. I could be wrong about that though.
  15. Yes you got that right, soxtalk has Jim Bullard, Jeff Bajenaru and Neal Cotts as registered members. I'm not completely sure about Bajenaru but I guess it is.
  16. Now I understand your point Roman thanks for clearing that up.
  17. Lets not forget this shrinks our magic number to I believe 12. YASSSSS!
  18. Congrats Maggs on your first career walkoff, can't wait to see that highlight.
  19. This guy will always bbe Tiger Trash in my mind. He probably wishes that he still was.
  20. I would love to see that especially against the Yankees. Winning by walkoff is great no matter what.
  21. Sounds like a good answer to me, thanks Jim.
  22. Hey Jim, don't know if you have read the article or heard anything about it but apparently a few Sox players are totally against having Wally Backman coach the big league team. Do you see any reason for this?
  23. Bart walks Soriano on 4 pitches. Chicken or good idea?
