To think I brought up yesterday that Sandy was a pretty decent bunter and said he never has a chance in hell to beat one out though.

I agree put Miles in the 8 hole in place of Valentin for 3 or 4 games and see what the guy can do.

Surprisingly enough I believe Sandy Alomar Jr. is a pretty good bunter, god knows he could never beat one out for a hit. But nonetheless in a situation where it calls for the runners to be moved over and say Olivo was up, I wouldn't hesistate to bring up Sandy to bunt.

Lets not forget that Borchard hit around .350 in the final month of the minor league season.
