Escobar's ability cannot be overlooked. He has the ability to be an extremely good pitcher and he as shown flashes of that throughout his career. Tonight he is looking very good as well, it's going to be tough for the Sox to get something going against him.

78 pitches by Escobar thus far. Nice job by Crede and Olivo being patient. We should see quite a bit of bullpen tonight as long as the White Sox hitters try to do what Olivo and Crede were doing.

His agent said that the rumours of him vetoing any trade to an AL team is not true.

3rd in the league in fielding percentage, I'm not sure about overall defense though. THere has been a large improvement over the past few seasons.

2 points Jas -A blown save could have been like bases loaded no outs in the 7th Sox up by one and Marte comes in and gives up a sac fly. That's a blown save.
