Yeah if we had an average defensive CF Mark gives up like 2 runs.
Was it Maggs in CF or Rios?
Rios. Kept getting bad reads and breaks on balls, and doesn't have the speed to make up for it.
A little off topic but what position does Ruddy Yan play?
I just saw some highlights but it seemed like lots of the Jays' hits came off of bloops and broken bats. Would I be right in saying the stats didn't tell the whole story last night?
It's a good thing that Buehrle pitched 2 scoreless after the 5 runs though.
The only thing I'm worried about are the 4 walks.
Maybe I'm wrong but wouldn't every other country be just steaming if the United States decided to do something as stupid as that???
I believe the article is talking about a defensive strike if N.Korea ever went to war with the South anyways.
I'm not sure if it really matters but Rowand does have some pretty good potential he did hit .293 with 4HRS and 20 RBI in 123 at bats. Along with 5 stolen bases. In the year 2001 he actually was 4th among rookie batting averages.
Stats
Only 12000 people for last night's game. What's going on, is that normal for this squad? For a pretty decent ball club and such a big city that's pathetic.
Yesterday Borchard, Miles and Hummel all homered in a 6-4 loss. Felix Diaz took the loss giving up 2 earned runs without being able to retire a single batter.
Stewart pitched 6.2 innings giving up 8 hits and 4 runs with 2 BBs and 3Ks.
Miles 2-4 .323
Borchard 2-4 .278
Munoz had another good outing yesterday getting the W in a 3-2 comeback yesterday by the Knights. Munoz pitched 2 thirds scoreless for the win with I believe 2 ks.
