Where do you draw the line between "effortless" and "indifferent" or downright "lazy", though? There has to be a reason why he basically sucked while playing in SD. Agreed, he'll probably get into a decent stretch very soon. Working the pitcher for 13 pitches in only 2 at bats is a positive(so far). Especially when the pitcher in this case Rodriguez, is doing so well. But to stay in the starting lineup he'll have to start hitting or we could be seeing Daubach more and more often.
