They they also spent too much on Canseco and Castilla. I think there were a few others as well but not too sure.

Their lyrics aren't exactly to the depth of a System of a Down or a Matthew Good but they have pretty good creativity coming for Mr.Han or whatever his name is. Pretty good band in my opinion. They know exactly what the public wants.

I know that in World War 2 it sure did seem like France chickened out and folded letting the Nazis trample them, but I'm not so sure that's the case here. I'm not a big France fan but I do believe they have other reasons for not going other than being chickens. If anything Chirac is taking a big risk in not going, politics wise.

Yah I have to give it to all you guys, it's great to read the arguments from both sides. Even if there is only like one person on the other side, Apu. He does hold his own (in my opinion).

My brain has gone blank who is Pedro Lopez and who is Stewart?
-
Yah Diaz is starting. I read on chisox.com that no starting position players are maing the trip for today's game.

A lot of food and other items like that were also banned from being imported into the country under UN Sanctions. That's why groups like Voices in the Wilderness have to smuggle it past US Customs and then smuggle it past the Iraqi government as well. The UN Sanctions also did a great job of emaciating the Iraqi people and f***ing them over as well. hey im no fan of the UN..this situation should have been handled 12 years ago Agreed, if UN was more decisive this probably could have been sovled 12 years ago. I wasn't talking about US health care I was talking about helpiong ohter countries if that's even possible.

Why do the Sox need another starter at this point? More or less what meant was if Ginter had some success this year he would have a lot mroe trade value than White.
-
I'm not totally agaisnt his war or anything but don't any of you guys think this money could be used for more substantial world issues such as hunger and health care.
-
Doesn't anyone think that Ginter would give the Sox a better long reliever that White? Ginter also still has some potential at becoming a major league starter. White does not.

Thanks for the info, could you name the young guys that are on the 40man that will likely start at Charlotte ?
-
I saw Tears of the Sun this weekend and thought it definitely was overly dramatic.
-
Okay you have your 40man roster right, what happens if one of the guys playing in Triple A on the 40 man is struggling and someone not on the 40man roster is doing great? What would a team have to do to remove a player from the 40man and add a different one? Would the guy coming off of the 40man roster have to be placed on Waivers?

Hey sideshowapu whats your opinion on Colin Powell. Most people seem to like this guy and some say he is like a dove compared to the rest of Bush's adminstration.

CNN just shows the violence in protests for ratings. For the most part especially in the US and Canada protests are peaceful. Not sure if I can say that about other countries though.
-
If he is it should be interesting. I wish he would just go out there for and inning and strike out the bloody side.

Seems like shock and awe is in full steam ahead now. Anyone else get sort of depressed when they see the images. Another war.

In regards to those missiles. They are reporting that they were missiles with a 100-125 mile range. These were the missiles that Saddam had destroyed a week or so ago, that type. These were missiles that were banned in Resolution 1441 that said that Iraq couldn't have any missiles that would fire from the range of 90 miles or greater and that list includes scud missiles, which intelligence shows they have at least two dozen of them. The missiles that he fired are like Al Rassus or something. For those of you that didn't believe he has the weapons, the missiles fired he was not supposed to have, and inspectors thought in the case of the couple fired yesterday that he had gotten rid of all of them. Obviously he was hiding stuff. One thing that the US is now semi worried about is the fact that they may of detected the stealths. Now they aren't undectable like many believe, but in no way did they believe that Iraq had this type of capabilities. I read on cbc.ca that the missiles fired at Kuwait were Abibil 100 missilies. But I can't find the link anymore. It does appear that the Abibil is legal. Here's some info on the Abibil Not sure if cbc.ca was right about it being Abibil missiles. If you have a link to it saying otherwise please show me.
-
I assume you guys already heard but Iraq apparently made a retaliation attempt, they fired 4 Ababil 100 missiles, 2 of which were shot down and 1 which landed in a open desert in Kuwait. One also landed near Camp Commando in Kuwait wherever that is. Iraq is denying that they fired the missiles. Phh

I believe the pentagon released information stating that US forces fired 40 cruise missiles in the "Target Oppurtunity" There is some decent footage showing quite often on CNN of the apparent exploding missiles (I assume). What do you guys think about Sadam's speech? If it was Sadam

I agree with the organization's decision. Get Rauch consistent pitching time.
