  1. It's not that it's not an extremely difficult choice. But I doubt the choice of going to war or not has not already been made. And if anything I doubt the choice was made by Bush himself, but by his puppetmasters. And making him look strained and tired sells the idea that it has been a very difficult decision. But that's just my opinion and I could be wrong. I always try to read between the lines.
  2. Thanx for the update Yep, the great pitching is showing up these last couple of days, but the offense has been quiet, aside from some solo hrs. Right as I say this the Sox give up a bundle of runs lol. The score is now 5-3 going into the top of 9 for Oaktown. Rontrez Johnson homered off of Tom Gordon in the top of the 8th. SIDE NOTES -Rocky Biddle go the win today for Montreal. -Johan Santana pitched some scoreless innings for the W today in a victory over Cleveland.
  3. I found some info. It's 3-1 Sox going into the top of the 8th -Magglio Solo Homer in the 2nd Innning came off of Micah Bowie -Ramon Hernandez Solo Homer in the 6th Inning off of Gary Glover Great pitching lately in ST
  4. Well I know were not against Mulder or Hudson because they are pitching against the cubs. Sorry for the virtually pointless info. Wish I knew more.
  5. I have a theory apu. You know at Bush's latest address of the nation or whatever it was. He looked really pale and strained. I think this was staged to make it seem like Bush was making extremely difficult decisions about the war. Like he hadn't made up his mind about war 6 months ago lol. What do you think, it's sort of a stretch.
  6. So there's no way to know whats happening in todays games, eh. I guess we'll have to wait for whitesox.com to have some articles
  7. Once the season starts I assume you have to pay for gameday audio?
  8. Wyatt Allen, Byeong Hak An, Brian Cooper, Neal Cotts and Kris Honel, as well as catcher Jonathan Acevas. I thought Cooper would be around longer, he was having a decent spring. Pitching 2 and 2 thirds innings and only giving up one hit and no walks. This surprises me because Cooper has also had some major league experience.
  9. Probably but either way returning champion (Cy Young Porzio) now needs a 3rd baseman.
  10. Isn't Alfonseca the closer as of now. If Alfonseca and Remlinger struggle at all I wouldn't be suprised if Farnesworth got some save attempts. If that's at all in Bakers plans.
  11. Yah I'm pretty pumped about the trade for Peerless being a falcons fan. But I think they need to improve their defense a lot more before they win a superbowl. This offseason they have even took steps back defensively. Losing Ashley Ambrose. They did sign Corey Hall from Cincinnati which seemed like a pretty good pickup.
  12. Are you talking about the picture of John Cena in my signature. Because if you are you know you could never be the perfect physical specimen that he is along with his uncomparable charisma. LOL

    Money Question

I'd be tempted to hold on to my money. US economy has been sliding recently and I think the Canadian dollar could further improve. Besides, Canada's dollar is artificially low anyways.
  14. I haven't heard Ginter's name at all lately. Is he at all a candidate for the #5 spot or even the bullpen. Or has he run out of chances. Wasn't he a high draft pick a couple years back. Possibly trade bait?
  15. On yahoo fantasy he is a 1b/3b. But he could play LF in real life. Although I din't think he will this season.
  16. Whoa man, lets not get too crazy here. A loss of one pitcher won't kill a team. Especially a team with the kind of heart the Twins have (I didn't like saying it but it's true).
  17. Totally agreed. He never had the stuff to be anymore that a mediocre to sub mediocre ball player.
  18. oops accidently posted it twice my computer screwed up.
  19. I see that you have Nevin on your fantasy team who may be missing the entire year. I happen to have a pretty decent backup 3rd baseman I'd be willing to deal to you (Koskie). Perhaps you'd like to talk.
  20. It's a WHITE SOX WINNER 2-0 FINAL. Pitching was great today and I believe Colon got the W and Koch got the save.
  21. For the White Sox it's Bartolo Colon, Josh Stewart and Billy Koch. For the Padres' it's Brian Lawrence, Kevin Jarvis and Ben Howard.
  22. Yah that was very nice to see.
  23. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gam...ameId=230306108 Nice to see that both Jimenez and Harris had stolen bases.
  24. Does anyone know which pitcher he was blasting?
