QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 09:31 PM) yeah an That, Barbershop, and Blair Witch have to be one of the most succesful profits made from a film that was made under $15 million in the last 10 years. Try Napoleon Dynamite made for 400Gs

QUOTE(qwerty @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 05:57 PM) The cast for saw 2 is like 100X bigger than last time... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432348/ Well the first one was supposed to be straight to video...

QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 04:43 PM) You mean like in this post? http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=37898 I listen to Air America once in a while on my XM. I have no idea how they stay on the air. I know the 'message' doesn't speak to me, but my god, if there a more hateful group of people in the world, I don't know where they would be. They really need to lighten up a bit. I've never heard more hateful things than from people like John Gibson, Bill O'Reilly, and ANN COULTER.

Okay the US broke the Geneva conventions but what could possibly come of it? Aren't the Geneva convention issues ruled upon by the International High court and hasn't the United States withdrew themselves from it?
-
Damnit! On a personal note I'm still boycotting Coors in an attempt to bring down the Heritage foundation.

QUOTE(juddling @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) Do you really think that the ambassador of Luxembourg or Belgium worries about HOW the US representative got there?? I can see it now...the Luxembourg ambassador talking to the guy from Belgium saying "Gee...did you see how Bolton got here??? First time he speaks..let's stand up and turn our backs on him. That will show 'em. " i must ask.....How do you think he will reflect the US? Are other guys going to say "He's a bully..we won't deal with the US." or what?? AS far as i can tell..they already have that opinion about us. How he got there? That's for the democrats to argue. It's what he stands for that will reflect poorly upon America. But if all Americans like you didn't really care how the World thought of you then I wouldn't either.

*mockingly saluting Yasny*

Not really scared of him, but how he's going to reflect upon his own country. Like I mentioned earlier he has said in the past that the United Nations only works when the United States wants it to and when it is in the United States interest.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 12:48 PM) LMAO. We are talking about a group that is afraid of talking in too strong of a language against genocide in the Sudan today, I would hardly emphasize the "United" when it comes to actually fulfilling what their charter is supposed to be. The UN is a joke and needs to be torn down and started over. Could be, but Bolton has said the United Nations could only be effective with American leadership and when it is in America's interest. The ideals behind the UNITED nations has great meaning to me and just because the United Nations has fallen on hard times doesn't make Bolton's appointment logical or deserved. Maybe the United States government considers the United Nations useless but other countries don't and this appointment is another step in turning world opinion against the United States. Here's to Bolton having changed some of his opinions since that rant of his was recorded.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) That figures. :headshake I'm not sure where you are coming from here Yas. Are you just really against the current United Nations, or Kofi?

QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 12:43 PM) WE should just let them build that new UN building in Montreal or something. Get their asses out of NY. We'd be honored.
-
QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 07:25 AM) YOU ARE RIGHT! They are not SUPPOSED to like it, just deal with it. The UNITED Nations

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,164440,00.html Thank the lord we have John Gibson reporting for Fox News exactly why the democrats opposed the Bolton nomination. What a joke.
-
Wow I'd never seen this video before. http://movies.crooksandliars.com/UNbelievable.mov John Bolton is the definition of a neo-conservative and for that reason there is no reason for anyone outside the United States to like this appointment, especially considering his short term would never be long enough to evoke great reform in such a large bureaucracy.

George W. Bush, tough on big business! how about anal rape your wife and get appointed to FDA Reproductive Health Drugs Advisory Committee http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Hager

QUOTE(CubKilla @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 12:23 AM) So did most of the world..... including Clinton and Gore. God..... you libs are like a broken record. Alright, then Bush also thought it was a good idea to rush into Iraq with little thought on what to do after initial victory and what the consequences of an invasion would be. And we know how that's turning out, or at least most libs do.
