  1. To categorize Robert's 2020 season as bad doesn't seem fair to me. Idk if Robert becomes Willie Mays, Mike Cameron or worse. Neither do you. It is a safer bet to project him to be Mike Cameron or out of baseball since there aren't alot of Willie Mays out there.
  2. I understand that obviously things are not going well right now but still believe it's a little premature to conclude they won't win the division. Part of the reason I wouldn't write off the season on 4/29 is that I really don't believe there is a team in the division that is going to run away and hide. I will admit as each day goes by and the bats stay silent it is difficult to remain patient.
  3. I am losing faith by the day. They are extremely lucky to be in the division that they are in. If there is any bright spot to me is the pitching has generally been pretty good especially without Lynn and Giolito until recently.
  4. Enough of this punishment for one night. At least the Twins lost, hopefully one of these days our bats wake up.
  5. I agree with you by the way, lucky Rendon didn't make it 5-1.
  6. It's the pitching that's the problem. We got a run, why can't we hold them to zero.
  7. Good question, and my answer is no. I am fine with Burger at 2B.
  8. It's nice that some people get it. It's all about personal taste and I realize I am in the minority when it comes to Benetti. I don't feel like someone is crazy for liking to listen to him announce sporting events. I guess I missed the rule that if major broadcasters want an individual to announce games you have to like them.
  9. Guess we'll see, I am speaking solely about the division. Whether that makes them good or not Idk.
  10. Guess it depends what hole you mean, they are like 2 or 3 games out of the division lead. Just lost 8 in a row so should be thankful we're in the division that we are in.
  11. So there is only one direction to go lol...things are never as good as they seem and they never are as bad as they seem either. Going to take more than 15 or 20 games for me to hit the panic button. This last week or so has sucked but I still believe things will turn around.
  12. I tend to agree with this, players seem to like playing for managers that trust them. If Hendricks would have found a way to work his way out of it and secure the win I am not sure anyone says a word about his back.
  13. At the risk of being called a TLR defender, who would have you wanted to come in from the bullpen? If Hendricks says he was OK I would have left him in also. As mentioned, I am not defending TLR because he obviously made the wrong decision lol. Just wondering who you would have wanted to see in the game of who we had left.
  14. I am not a hater, but would prefer they would go in a different direction. I think if they would make a move now(which isn't going to happen) there would be a short term bump but long term they would need to get players back and just simply play better. I don't think their record is much different with another manager but maybe slightly better.
  15. So what does LaRussa not returning in 2023(which I would be in favor) promise? If there was a guarantee LaRussa is gone in 2023 and they win the World Series then yes I would sacrifice not making the playoffs this season. Short of that I will take the playoffs any season they can get there.
  16. I agree, not sure how you can call yourself a fan of a team if you want them to fail.
  17. So close pitch to Burger is strike 3 and that's ball 4? fuck this ump
  18. Hope they are leaving Hendricks in
  19. That they were able to get out of that mess still tied I actually think they might win now.
  20. Wouldn't shock me if he walks him.
