All kinds of Pedro Philosophy..."Reflect to Learn"
Snopek replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
All snark aside...Pedro, this whole "zen trying to mask anxiety" approach you're doing clearly isn't working. FFS try something else man. You literally have nothing to lose. -
Dang, I knew Vaughn wasn't exactly good, but I didn't realize he was that bad. Dude brings absolutely nothing to the table right now.

No player symbolizes Chris Getz Player Development like Lenyn Sosa

We're still doing this back and forth in every other thread huh. Anyway, great initial post to the thread. Reality is a bummer. -

The Twins are bad. If I squint hard enough I can see a series split, but games 2, 3 and 4 can also be no hitters for the Minnesota. I think the Sox win today, though. -
Who would you pick to replace Grifol? Outside the box answers only.

Paul Konerko's statue. Jerry gets to milk the success of the 2005 team some more, plus it allows him him to stay internal and not talk to anyone new during the interview and hiring process. -
So maybe today is the day the no hitter happens

Sounds like another veteran that Pedro will be scared of.

I don’t think we’re even close to rock bottom yet.
-
Yeah but how’s your team culture?
-
JR’s teams absolutely thriving today. I'd say he deserves this, but we all know he gives zero shits.
-
I don't know how you interpret that quote that way unless you're actively trying to interpret it that way.
-
I'm sure JR would just use some phony ass rationalization that "big strides" were made this year that couldn't have been made if they went outside the organization.
-
I will say, at least Pedro is moving guys around instead of stubbornly keeping them in the same spot in the lineup.
-
For me, it’s hoping that: 1) Player development will improve enough where you have waves of talent supplementing the major league roster instead of relying on the same few players to stay healthy and blossom into superstars year after year. 2) The money that JR does allow to be spent will be allocated better aka not spending 50 trillion dollars on the bullpen.

Get both brothers. That family has some good baseball genes.

Sacrificing defense for offense Sacrificing offense for defense Sacrificing defense for offense

Sure, but a big part of a manager's job is handling the media and being the main communicator of the team's status and overall message. He is awful at it.

Is it wrong to want the Sox to embarrass themselves?
Snopek replied to reiks12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Appreciate the thoughtful post, but I'm hung up on something. Are you saying you remain objective and keep emotions out of both the lows AND the highs of the franchise? Or that you can flip a switch to block out the lows but still experience the highs? -
4/17/24 - KC @ CWS, Game 1, 2:10 PM Eastern

Depends. If it's a right click, you just go to Edit and increase all his attributes. -
The organization deserves it for many reasons, the fans do not (unless you ask JR)

Love AJ's dismissal of Schultz because he hasn't "heard much about him." AJ, you're allowed to look stuff up. -
This is an internet message board for a sports team that went from title contender to worst team in the league faster than most could process. I don’t understand how you continue to be surprised and/or bothered that the majority of the discussion is negative.

Chris Stratton and Chris Flexen are the same guy.

Vaughn’s warning track power would fare better at the United Center.
