  1. Yes, it’s been hard that they continue to be closed. Wisconsin Belgian Red, Dancing Man and Kid Kolsch are also solid. 3 Sheeps in Sheboygan is my other favorite Wisconsin brewery, brews well across many styles. For local breweries, Revolution and Spiteful are my two favorites here. Dovetail is great for OG beer styles. We are blessed in Chicago with so any great options. I like hitting up most styles beyond the recent hyped juice box / sippy cup styles (Hazy, Pastry Stouts, Kettle Sours, Slushies, etc.). Sox (here) and Beer Advocate are my lone two “social media” accounts.
  2. The time has come for Rick and Tony to have a serious talk with Eloy. Rick Hahn We have a question. Do you want to be an outfielder, or do you want to appear to be an outfielder? It's an honest question. Lot of guys want to appear to be outfielders. Glove, sunglasses, pretend they can play the position. Tony La Russa A lot of them want to lay in a net and fall asleep at the wheel. Eloy Jimenez I'm all set without your own personal job application, Skipper. With all due respect Sir, what do you want from me? Tony: Hey asshole, he can't help you. I know what you are, OK. I know what you are, and I know what you're not. I'm the best friend you have on the face of this Earth, and I'm going to help you understand something, you punk. You're no fucking outfielder. Rick: He's right. We deal in deception here. What we do not deal with is self-deception. Five years from now, you can be anything else in the world. But you will not be a major league outfielder. Eloy: Are you sure of that? Rick: I'm sure of that. Tony: Guaran-fucking-teed.
  3. Here is the TA video, not sure if Len saw anything else, but I didn't see any contact with the umpire near the dugout. Hopeful it's just a fine.
  4. What did Tim do after he left the dugout? The the White Sox broadcast out of Jerry Springer's studio show anything? All we have in terms of either broadcast is Len Kasper reporting that Tim Anderson was ejected and is likely facing a suspension. Don't have any more information other than that, because Len and DJ were the only two at the game (DJ didn't comment on a suspension, but said you need to be smart in these situations).
  5. Didn't see it, Len was the one who mentioned a likely suspension on radio, would like to see what happened there.
  6. Based on current form, Lopez could be the third best in the bullpen now, behind Kopech and Hendriks. Madrigal for Bryant, Contreras and Kimbrel (and their contracts). Get' er done Jerry/Rick.
  7. Very stupid, 1 game suspension likely. Par for today, he played a stupid game today.
  8. Last four appearances: 7/9 (12-1 Game 100% Win Probability) 7/11 (7-5 74% Win Probability) 7/18 (4-0 98% Win Probability) 7/20 (9-5 78% Win Probability) It's part of the problem, Crochet and Kopech are scheduled for development, Sox trying to do both to avoid spending a few million on decent relievers this offseason. The Sox have been playing with two spots short in many games. Crochet should be developing in the minors. Kopech is fine, but they need more relievers on a day to day basis.
  9. Did Tony just wander out there in a senior moment? What the hell is going on? Wow: Tony Ejected. Well done.
  10. "Anyone who thinks we can stay ahead of the Guardians are crazy." - Jerry Reinsdorf, July 31, 2021
  11. Outlook Invite: Date: 7/31/21 Time: 1:00 PM CDT From: Chairman Mr. Jerry Reinsdorf To: Howard Pizer, Ken Williams, Rick Hahn, Tony La Russa, Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson, Lance Lynn, Liam Hendriks Subject: Trade Deadline
  12. I'm done with the Goodwin era, thank you very much. Tim needs to get his head out of his ass as well.
  13. Solid game by Lucas tonight, don't want Tony to push it and have him go over 100.
  14. No. Jason called his employer hot garbage last week in disgust. JR's RSN is broke, pay higher cable bills, whoever is still out there paying cable bills.
  15. It needs to be retired, same with Thunderstruck and Chelsea Dagger.
  16. Completely false, as usual. There was never EVER a “stand alone” DH offer. Owners tied everything to their complete garbage horseshit 16 team playoff and or delaying Spring Training for whenever the owners god damned wanted to lockout the players, just like last years absurd 102 game logout.
  17. Blame the owners, they wanted another pathetic 16 team playoff to retain the NL DH. MLB owners will stop at nothing to destroy their sport.
