  1. Keep in mind this is the same time Bowman's racist minor league coach in Rockford was calling their prospect the n word. Bowman and McDonough swept this abuse under the rug by first demoting Akim Aliu, than dumping him in the offseason to placate their racist piece of shit coach Bill Peters. The Blackhawks will defend their racist logo to the death, but not their players from sexual and racist assaults. A Wirtz is a Wirtz is a Wirtz. Stan Bowman whose sole qualification is pappy Scotty's sperm, yet another disgraceful crony hire in this city. GFY Blackhawks, and USA Hockey, if you don't shitcan Stan Bowman.
  2. Tony let's the players decide, too much deference IMO. Pedal to the metal, doesn't care if everyone is dead before the season ends. Thibodeau squared.
  3. Schwarber's 162 Game Average for Home Runs is 37, sure his current pace is 53, but not crazy considering the ebbs and flows of a season. Also within expectations, substantial injury games lost by Eaton. Hahn just had to sign him before Christmas, leaving far better options on the table.
  4. Agreed. Regardless of whether Seattle was returning or not, cancelling Saturday in the morning was the responsible thing to do, or at least immediately after the flash flooding downtown, area tornados, and knowledge there would be rain and possible severe weather throughout the day. It should have been called early, to allow folks to stay home and not be at risk at the ballpark. Sunny and clear right now, but there is rain on the way. https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/chicago/60608/weather-radar/348308
  5. Not surprised by the voting or messages, most people believe he will be used consistent with first half usage (pitch 1-2 innings every three days in high leverage situations and or an occasional spot start). I could see Lynn and Keuchel, possibly Giolito, being against going with a six man in terms of their routine, Keuchel also needs 160 IP to require the minimum 160 next year for his vesting, he'll be vocal as he has criticizing Ricky last year, or Tony for pulling him yesterday. With Rodon being a FA this offseason, wonder if the Sox will even bother trying to manage his innings, or just pitch him until he can't pitch no more like the Cubs did with Chapman in 2016, within reason (100-110 pitch outings, but letting him attempt 32 starts plus postseason). Cease may need a little break as well, perhaps a phantom IR stay to skip a start or two. They still haven't disclosed Kopech's limit, but it should be in the 100-120 range, allowing him say 10-12 pitch count managed starts plus postseason.
  6. Hopefully Michael Kopech will head for the minor leagues for a quick rehab stint or perhaps get activated here shortly after a few simulated appearances. The poll is What is Michael Kopech's role in the second half? Voting is for what you think the White Sox will do / what will ultimately happen, not what you would do with Michael Kopech,
  7. Les Boob also equated going to jail with taking a sick day from work. Give me Le Tit sNow for $200.
  8. Blown Save (BS) Definition A blown save occurs when a relief pitcher enters a game in a save situation, but allows the tying run to score. The run does not have to be charged to that pitcher. If a reliever enters with a man already on third base, and he allows that runner to score the tying run, he is charged with a blown save. 9. It's also not the first (or second) time Tony called up a 27th man pitcher, only to have him sit all game.
  10. Collins Sucks Mercedes Sucks Ha Ha, Don't See OR Hear, Keep Pushing Fellas!
  11. Send Vaughn, Mercedes and Collins to the minors, LOL
  12. Thankfully there was no collision and drop on that play.
  13. Kasper and DJ saying ump is missing strikes here, can't see with the shadows. If Crochet is a gas can, Evan Marshall is the world's largest match.
  14. He's not stretched out, 2 IP is his longest outing this season. Just an opener, did a great job.
  15. That's what baseball fundamentals look like. Tony La Russa and your White Sox.
  16. Crochet warming up. Sounds like Lambert was a decoy or here for mop up only. Tony no like rookies.
  17. Mercedes reclaims second place on the team RBI list.
