  1. Need to bring a 27th man Tony will use tomorrow, bullpen on gas at this point with Kopech pulled for the start.
  2. Nice seeing Crochet with a clean inning. If he is efficient, may steal two.
  3. Hoping he has cemented his place in the core, both offensively and defensively, after the past few weeks. Yermin has gotten the hype, but Andrew has been the most important rookie due to his two way ability, the defensive portion a most pleasant surprise.
  4. Generally I agree late in the season, but see your point. With two regulars out and going with a four man bench vs. three, the flexibility between taking advantage of matchups and rotating 1-2 spots helps.
  5. One spot per game is fine, Collins a game a series, Mendick RF or INF, OF rotation once Engel returns. Pitcher for ? on roster in the interim. Prefer 5-7 runs a game, not 9-9-3, 9-9-2.
  6. Bench players need to play, just not all on the same day.
  7. Would like to see Mendick pinch hit for Lamb, play second, shift Vaughn to first and Garcia to LF.
  8. Not getting the previous batter hurt the pitch count, before THAT play.
  9. Highly recommend films by the great Werner Herzog, including Aguirre, Wrath of God. SoxTalk Warning, it’s not a sports film staring former DePaul Forward Mark.
  10. Looked a little windy in LF on that first out. Twins lineup for today: https://mobile.twitter.com/Twins/status/1392867007813406721
  11. Question: is the current capacity, before May 24, the same as Opening Day, or did it increase partially, but not to 60%?
  12. Yes, very nice in Chicago as well, near perfect next few days. Enjoy the day, and the game!
  13. I'm headed to Goose Island for $1 Honker's Ale and a burger. Last time I watched a Sox game there was 2020 Game 1. Hoping for the same results, swapping out Lynn for Giolito in the dominate stud pitching role.
  14. Did the organization "see value" in Nick Williams? No, Tony did. Hahn had to take him away. This is the same thing, except now they don't have the luxury of 1-2 off days per week. They need arms, not Jake Lamb. Grandal can cover 1B fine, Garcia and Mendick 3B. I'm here to talk baseball, others like you hold grudges against those who disagree with baseball discussion. Let it go.
  15. Don't consider any of my posts "freaking out", just stating facts. Batting Lamb 2nd or 5th is ludicrous.
