In what alternative universe is Tony La Russa not the beneficiary of cheating? Oakland was ground zero for the steroid era, and he brought his buddy Mark with him to Saint Louis. Not to mention Jack McDowell’s accusations. Hawk rightfully fired him. With his current performance, it doesn’t appear he’ll be able to improve much on his .507 White Sox record. Reminds me of sanctimonious John Wooden. Sam Gilbert, not John Wooden, was the pyramid of UCLA’s success.

Definitely has better sprint speed than Grandal.

Hahn's Sabotage began on Day One

https://www.businessinsider.com/ceos-often-have-psychopathic-traits-2017-7?op=1 Profile fits Reinsdorf 100%, Tony on a lot of levels.

When exactly does Sox management speak? La Russa's hire was reported weeks before the press conference. The Score (Speigel and Parkins) discussed rumors that Hahn and the FO are possibly intentionally sabotaging the La Russa hire, letting him hang out to dry. That's pure speculation, but at the same time if Hahn signs Pujols, coupled with Lamb's continued existence leads credence to this theory. Many here want to absolve Hahn with speculation he has "no say / power, Tony calls all the shots", replacing the "All bad trades/signings/draft picks are Kenny's fault, the few good moves were Rick Hahn's" groupthink. A fair honest assessment is neither are performing on an acceptable level in their respective roles.

The article I linked presents two issues troubling for the clubhouse, FO and Sox fans: 1. The lawsuit alleges Tony La Russa told an “Ebonics” joke in 2018 aimed at a Black man attending a foundation event. 2. Tony’s wife and daughter resigned until the executives named are removed, as they believe the lawsuit allegations are by and large true. Tony continues to defend the two executives, and deny any issues by the executives named in the lawsuit filed on behalf of multiple employees. Among the allegations is a termination attributed to ageism, a topic you have stated you are sensitive to.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
South Side Hit Men replied to Texsox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I agree with you and @Flash . Sadly, the only Sheets we’ll be seeing under the current regime is Tony “Three Sheets” La Russa. Even if Gavin was here, Tony would bury him under Hamilton, Garcia and Lamb on the OF Depth chart. Hahn needs to take charge and DFA Hamilton and Lamb with two viable possibly productive players. He has one off day to start the process. -
Not to mention the lawsuit filed against Tony La Russia’s animal foundation, which I don’t believe a single Chicago media person has even referenced since the lawsuit was filed. The Sox were fortunate their $54M closer wasn’t hurt running the bases yesterday, and he shouldn’t have even been in the game at that point as Bummer should have been brought in to face LHB Barnhart. Also, why have Hendriks pitch to hot LHB Winker, with two weak RHBs (.173 & .140) on deck. Literally every single move by Tony was wrong from the point Kopech was removed.

Folks on Jerry's payroll have turned on La Russa a month into the season. Guess we can place Steve Stone in the anti-racist SJW Tony hater column. LOLz Others still try to shift the blame from Tony to others, though not successfully. Don't say we didn't warn you. Ode to the '79 Pirates!

Sad news from today's game. Who knew a Dallas Keuchel changeup could break a thumb?

Take a bow, Byrke.

I'm praying this version of Tony emerges very soon, hopefully after he passes John McGraw in June.

instead of tossing personal insults and absurd hot takes, you can actually take the time to learn from others. Few if any of your posts are accurate, including your rants about posters here, announcers like Jason or Harry, or anything else related to the game of baseball. A manager's primary responsibility is to put his team in the best position to win. Inserting Liam Hendricks as your lead runner instead of Abreu, or literally anyone else would be a better option. Stealing second with the lead run at third, especially without the threat of a double steal due to the absurd decision above, and fact you have a solid catcher behind the plate was absurd. Batting Hamilton in yet another crucial situation was absurd.

Just think where the team would be if Dave Duncan didn't reject Tony's job offer to serve as his pitching coach. Or if Lucas didn't recruit Ethan Katz to come here. 13-16? 9-20?

Fair? Not sure if you being serious are sarcastic. MLB explained these rules this Spring. David Bell knew the rule. David Ross knew the rule when a similar situation occurred last week. James Fegan, White Sox Beat Reporter, knew the rule.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
South Side Hit Men replied to Texsox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Agreed, though I believe incentives tied to IP or Games / At Bats are prorated in a shortened season, just as pay was last year. Players will demand that before signing any deal. -
If the Dave Duncan said yes to Tony’s Pitching Coach offer, this team would currently be under .500.

James Fegan knew the rule. Ozzie and Frank can join La Russa and everyone else and flush them all down the toilet. Tony fucked up at least three times in a half inning, and personally cost the team at least three games personally. Dereliction of duty is a specific offense under United States Code Title 10, Section 892, Article 92 and applies to all branches of the US military. A service member who is derelict has willfully refused to perform his duties (or follow a given order) or has incapacitated himself in such a way that he cannot perform his duties.
-
Matt Spegel reported talk in the clubhouse indicates coaches are intimidated at trying to correct La Russa. Ethan Katz could stay, everyone else can be flushed down the toilet.
-
Tony cannot start, he’s down to a barely functioning brain stem. James Fegan is currently reading the rule book to Tony. This is what Jerry Reinsdorf’s decades of dysfunction breeds. They both need to leave the organization.
-
James f**an fucking read Tony the rule book as one of the question. TONY LARUSSA DIDBT KNOW THE FUCKING RULE. Tony could have elected to have the runner before Hendriks to run since Hendriks is a pitcher, but TONY CHOOSE TO RUN HENDRIKS BECAUSE HE DUSNT JNOW THE FUCKING RULE
