4-7 GT: CWS @ SEA (3:10 PM CT)
South Side Hit Men replied to Capn12's topic in 2021 Season in Review
Their roof doesn’t “close”. It gets close, covers the park from rain, but does not completely close like Milwaukee or other retractable roofs. Seattle is a mild climate, so there aren’t many times where heat and or air conditioning would be preferred in a ballgame. Last night was an exception to the rule. -

Hope they can take their first this season against a RHP. Had to laugh when I came across the fact Twitter unverified Steve Stone. https://mobile.twitter.com/ChiSoxFanDave/status/137938711661924352 -

312-609-1313. I give that number out for reward programs. And now the Dan Libitard show is on instead of White Sox baseball. Before the game was cut off, Kasper said the Sox are one game away of tying the all time record. with 18 straight against LHP. -

Are they calling pitches from the dugout with Collins in? Listening on radio, and they haven't mentioned it. Watched pitches called for Collins and Mercedes on the internet streamed ST games. Thanks in advance, -

They should drop Lamb and call up Mendick, limit Garcia's playing time to the OF, can blend Mendick starts in more if Madrigal continues as he is. Wanted him up Monday to start the process, Lamb still hasn't played a game. Put him on the taxi squad or drop him. July would make it a full year in the majors, they should get someone at the trade deadline if he's drops into the 500s-low 600 OPS range. -

Just returned to the White Sox game. Had to listen to this entire song during the sand dune segment until ESPN 1000 returned to the game. Guess I learned something new today. Sort of looks like a DH/C I know. -

ESPN Radio feed goes to a God-Damn national show yet again. They are talking about mountain biking and sand dunes. This radio station is amateur hour. I so hate all things ESPN. -

Nice to get out of that after the leadoff walk with minimal pitches. He should be able to go five, maybe into the sixth, depending on if he has any arm issues/concerns based on the drop of velocity. -

It wasn't "a year", Nick Trubisky played a dozen couple games, in part because the dumb ass ran through a coaching's hold sign and jammed his shoulder at third. Kelenic was by far the best selection, no hindsight. They had no sure fire RF, no hindsight. Then they go, knowing they are jammed packed at DH and select Vaughn, who has no position with Eloy, with Abreu, with their precious Grandal $74M signing, with Mercedes, with Burger if he was ever considered. You got balls going past Collins, Vaughn learning a position on the fly. A typical Rick Hahn shitshow. -

Child please. Madrigal has zero power, and when they squeeze his ass in the outfield, his slapped balls become outs. Eloy is not an outfielder, and pretending that he is lead to what has happened the past two years. Kelenic plays RF and CF. Not only was he a much better hitter, and fielder, but he also fit a need the Sox have been scrambling to fill for years. Mazara, Eaton. -

Yes, glad I was wrong today. Tip my hat to Collins and for La Russa for starting him today. Still would like Mercedes to have a shot to catch, but not sure the club feels the same way.
