Suck it, Twin b****es!!!
-
Unintentional intentional walk to face Abreu?! Here comes Romo, as in, wait for it..... Shlomo
-
Degenerate.
-
Sad, but still in it.
-
My like for Parrot has increased after that at bat, well done!
-
Bad, but thankfully not Kirby Puckett bad.
-
Nice!
-
Almost got tossed arguing a terrible call, Rocco came out to cool things down. Next pitch, an angry Donaldson hit a home run, as he was crossing home he swiped a bunch of dirt on home plate, and then swiped a bunch more after he was tossed.
-
I liked it, would have liked a Sox doing it outside of a playoff game.
-
For two seconds, but not before I replied. Another good inning for Lopez, hope he has turned the corner!
-
We should be kinder to one another, and ourselves. Win or lose. Like the early start by Lopez, a second straight good outing as of now.

OK with the lineup, though agree Engel a better choice. Both are better than "The Acquisition".

Dallas Keuchel leaves game with back injury
South Side Hit Men replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
14 Hitters: Abreu, Anderson, Encarnacion, Dyson, Engel, Grandal, Jimenez, Madrigal, Mazara, McCann, Mendick, Moncada, Robert, Sanchez. 13 + 1 Bubble Pitchers: Bummer, Cease, Colome, Cordero, Detwiler, Dunning, Foster, Fry, Giolito, Heuer, Keuchel, Marshall, Rodon + Bubble. +1 Bubble: Cishek, Gonzalez, Lopez, Stiever Thinking Stiever still has a shot since they didn't send him down, though that could be for Dallas insurance. Thinking Lopez is likely dropped, down to Cishek (L) vs. Gonzalez (length), the new rules taking some of the odds away from Cishek. @Y2Jimmy0 Are there still injury changes allowed from series to series similar to last year, or have the rules changed with extra flexibility between the taxi squads due to COVID/Other injuries? In the past, you can swap between series, but I believe a player was DQd from further competition if swapped out. -
Dallas Keuchel leaves game with back injury
South Side Hit Men replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I personally would go Keuchel #1, Giolito #2 in the playoffs, by lining him up, is it the reverse? Not sure either way, or at least until he is named in Cincinnati. I just like the veteran to handle the pressure of an opening game. Giolito may be press in an opener, and he is much more effective if relaxed and with command. There are pros and cons for Cease vs. Dunning. Dunning is pitching better now, but would like to see the match-ups first. Ricky will have a better handle on it, having worked with the pitchers all year. Might be irrelevant first round if there is a quick sweep. -
Ozzie isn't very good on the Pre/Post-Game
South Side Hit Men replied to Look at Ray Ray Run's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I only listened to Rongey post game, it was funny listening to him blow a gasket. Some callers were idiots/drunk, but other times he was just stubborn or arrogant. Don't give a rats ass about the NFL / Bears (family were Chicago Cardinal fans), but if I hear the Bears lose, I try to catch the old guy on WGN (used to be on the score with the other old guy who died a few years ago) to see if he will have an on air heart attack screaming about the stupid Bears. 670 The Score outside of Laurence Holmes, who I like, is either boring or trash. -
The one thing to salvage from today is a lot of innings again from the Twins Bullpen. Need to work deep in counts and get Maeda with a few innings left to make it count. He has been pitching really well of late. Perhaps Engel will play tomorrow, sounds like Encarnacion returning.

It’s the same post, 10,000 times.
-
Nice to hear Stone talking about successful bullpen sessions by Rodon and Bummer today.
-
It’s the Goose Island pitchers mound at issue.
-
Almost Mazara.
-
Love that they have at least five bullpen innings on top of the previous games, and an afternoon game tomorrow. Go Sox!
-
Hate the 2001-2004 Twins >>> 2016-2020 Twins. Also like Ricky more than Jerry “Corpse Ball” Manual. Bleed Odorizzi!!!!
-
I get it, didn’t mean as a personal knock/swipe, just stating the Sox have battled back a lot this season. No faith past decade, faith this season. Sox earned it.
-
Yep, there’s one.
