Anderson, Abreu, Gio, Keuchel, Kopech These guys at some point showed passion.

The last game against the Twins has your answer. No Mazara and EE just works. Use them sparingly.
-
Do we also keep Eloy in LF in the hopes that all three get better?

Should we be worried about the Tigers in the future?

Really have to give props to the FO for that. -
Curious on your thoughts.

AND THATS A SWEET ROAD SWEEP WHITE SOX WINNER

Kneejerkery in the game threads is the very reason I keep the forums on during games, it just adds to the drama. Imagine the chat if EE missed that bomb, if Grandal didn't get the call at home plate, if Tim made another error, or if the pen lost the game, That's just baseball, so please let the kneejerkery continue. -
2005 seems like a lifetime ago, I'm also an Arsenal FC fan and they won the league last in 2004. Both teams now are showing huge promise. 15 years of sporting depression, let's go!

I"m not arguing, it's just a different opinion. -

I think DK would defer to Gio also but I still prefer DK as a team leader. I'd also want competition in our rotation. It's nothing against Gio's pitching, having him as our no.1 starter based on pitching is still warranted, I just want a person with more experience at the top of the rotation. -

Pitching isn't as consistent as Dallas and he isn't as vocal. What Dallas did earlier this season to rev up the players was something I've been looking for in a team leader for ages. -

EE's chinstrap annoys me. That should be reason enough to ship him off to Schaumburg. -

Agreed, just what I would do but highly unlikely. I'd want Gio to earn it back, not get complacent. -

Love Gio but Dallas is a born leader, he takes starting day next season for me. -

Can see your point but perhaps RR is easing Madrigal in. Resting Yoan and Madrigal could be a wise move especially against a struggling pitcher. On paper, we should have enough. Let's goooooo ChiSox! -
What is your predicted pitching rotation next year?

Sentimentally would love a reunion with Q, the guy was great for us but he had crappy run support. Would love it if we could get him a World Series. Still remember the emotional video when he got called up for the All-star game in 2016. "In July 2020, Quintana underwent surgery to repair a lacerated nerve on his thumb on his throwing arm, which he incurred while washing dishes.[25]" Those must of been some sharp dishes. -
Black and white ARMY!

Haha, agreed. It's been 15 years of hurt since 2005 and now it's time for us to finally enjoy this team again.

How about Hernandez in LF for Toronto? If there was an all-star game, we'd probably have like 4 players in the starting lineup. C McCann? 1B Abreu 2B ? 3B Rendon SS Anderson LF Eloy? CF Trout RF ? DH Cruz -
1. Keuchel 2. Giolito 3. Dunning 4. Cease 5. Kopech It's become more obvious that our hitting is post-season worthy but our pitching will be where we probably falter this season. Next season, Kopech is a huge question mark and Dunning and Cease will need to solidify their positions. Despite the promising young talent, we will probably have to get another elite pitcher. Is Bauer the guy?

SS Anderson .996 1B Abreu .981 C McCann .968 CF Robert .910 LF Eloy .896 2B Madrigal .815 RF Engel .785 C Grandal .759 3B Moncada .752 Yes, Edwin and Mazara haven't been great but besides them, the lineup is deadly. Imagine this year with a fully fit Moncada and an actual upgrade in RF. Grandal has the potential to be scary next year with a year under his belt in the AL. We probably won't keep McCann but damn I really hope we do. That lineup for next year if we can get a better RF is insane, no holes whatsoever. Who knows, maybe Engel really has figured it out.
