Shoutout to all my overactive Sox brothers! I love you guys! It’s only the 7th. I just had the most amazing experience in the last 3 hours talking to Chris Bassitts mom and dad, who are amazing! We live in the same community! would be a hell of a 5th pitcher pick up. They think he will be traded at the deadline. They said Samardzija is the biggest asshole in baseball. Also said Spanky Eaton and David Price were two amazing ppl in person who were so respectful! Both also said Chi Sox stadium is the most comfortable! If it was in a better location it would be best stadium in the MLB! A lot of conversations about “sticky substances” but will keep to myself! LETS GO YAS!!!!!

Sure hope he gets Sheets an AB tonight. Vaughn could be back just in time for a lefty.

That Moncada call was so bad last night. If anybody knows the zone it’s YoYo.

The fact that Lynn has not allowed a run in the first 3 innings all year is pretty damn incredible. -

Solid win! Lynn battled and the bullpen was lights out. Mize is gonna be a good one. I swear his face and hair looks just like Gerrit Cole. -
And you wanna give that away because you have a “hunch” he will be injury prone?!

Cease has been a lot better this year when shit hits the fan. Today just wasn’t one of them. He battled though. The guy gave up two infield rbi singles in the first inning and a wild pitch on a strike 3. Previous Cease would have never made it out of that inning. Not to mention about 3 broken bat singles throughout the game. His stuff is top of the rotation stuff. He is coming along. Was just a tough outing all around. That almost ended up in a Sox comeback. How many of those Cease outings in the past has it been completely out of reach?! Haha

You would trade Tatis Jr too right? The guy who left the game again today due to an injury for the third time this season?

Glad you are “all in” this season when we are set up for now and the future. Yes we do need a couple bats. Their names are Eloy & Luis. Kopech is going no where. Thank God you are not the GM.

Jose Abreu - BAD in high leverage situations
Nick_Schwam replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If this was football (QB) or basketball (where the star player has the ball in his hands at all times down the stretch) sure. Baseball is a completely different monster. Jose literally as we speak leads ALLLLL of baseball in RBIs. Was his damage done in “clutch time” I guess not, but he has done a hell of a lot of damage nonetheless. Look at the WS Sox team. Crede was “Mr Clutch” was he any where near the best player on that team? No Jose is gonna be Jose. Top 5 run producer on a playoff team. (The REIGNING MVP haha) geeeezsh. Baseball you will have the most unlikely person be the hero. Look at David Freese in that playoff run for the Cards, what the hell happened to him?! I know what I’m gonna get from Jose year in and year out, and I’m more then happy with that! -
Yermin had two really hard hit balls today. Him pressing a little and expanding the zone is frustrating. He has been doing that all year though and fouling off tough pitches. Ups and downs will happen. He’s batting something like .138 since that home run off goofy ass Astudillo. Doubt that history of events has anything to do for his slide. He was also hit in the head recently (yes a breaking ball) but that can still mess with a players approach especially the way he crowds the plate. His hitting statistics (although in the minors) shows that he will make necessary adjustments. The guy had one big league AB coming into this season. Just like Nick struggling and now hitting like .350 over the last couple weeks. Same with Vaughn right now. You guys we have a lot of young bats in the lineup with some lofty expectations set by us. There is a reason they are up here and there is a reason all 3 of them have helped the White Sox this season so far to a 2.5 game lead in the division. Hell that play in LF today by Vaughn was ridiculous! Saved at least a run and helped Cease get out of that shit show of a first inning.
