He hit 23 homers in the low minors in 2017 and 21 homers in AAA in 2019. So he has some pop.
-
Main reason we won.
-
Homers are key for the Sox to stay in the race. Was winning formula last season.
-
Today Robert and Eloy showed up.
-
They have more home run hitters than the Sox this season, which hurts more at GRF. Sox had to hit 3 homers today to match the Twins. Without the homers today, we would have been swept. Homers were our formula for success last season, but we have had a power outage this year. Welcome back Eloy. He made a big difference today. We need sluggers!
-
Our pitchers have no margin of error as Twins have too many many home run hitters in the lineup and balls are flying out today.
-
We needed these 2 homers so far. It is hard to beat the Twins at GRF without hitting homers, as they will certainly out homer and outrun us otherwise. Eloy being back has been key.
-
JR and TLR are delusional and living in an alternate reality.
-
What about trying a hit and run to try to avoid the double play?
-
To TLR lefty righty matchups are paramount and trumps any other consideration.
-
Do we have a chance at a wild card? We are not going to win the Division. Twins are much better this season.
-
No coaching. No development. No accountability.
-
But at least either way we increase opposing pitchers pitch counts.
-
Yes you are right, forgot about Graveman.
-
Add Kimbrel to the list..
-
You know you have a problem when Hahn recent signings have been Big Energy, Leury Legend, Pollock, Kelly, VV. With no quality lefty outfielder in sight, which is our biggest need. Only good signing lately has been Cueto.
-
Hopefully, JR does not bring in one of his octogenerians from his board of directors,
-
Needed to bring Eloy back quickly as we need someone who can hit homers. The Twins are destroying us with homers at home., and we have many home games coming up.
-
What sense does it make to bring in an analytics guru when you have comatose manager and owner who are in the 20 th century and mostly ignore analytics. You need to move the whole organization into the 21 st century looking forward not backwards like now.
-
We have been at that point for several weeks now. It maybe too late now to save the season.

That is why the Twins are in first place and we are on 3rd and falling fast. -

Cease is also leading the majors in strikeout rate per inning. -

5 th homer for the Twins, this time against VV. TLR threw in the towel. In the meantime, we can’t even hit a homer against AAA pitching tonight. Shameful. -

Where was ReyLo last night in the 10th? Kelly has been terrible and has a very high ERA. ReyLo has been hot and has not allowed a homer to over 150. Batters in a row. TLR apparently being guided by reputation with Kelly and not by recent performance by Lopez.
