  1. How do you bring in the lefty Tanner to face the righty Stanton, and not to pitch to the lefty Rizzo first and try to get out of the inning. Even Stoney Poney questioned the move. Another inexplicable and inexcusable TLR move, besides leaving Kelly in after walking three in a tied game in the 8 th. TLR should resign or be fired. Enough is enough.
  2. Another TLR bad move of many. You cant have a reliever walk 3 in the 8th in a tied game and be left in the game. TLR does not have a killer instinct and doesn’t optimize the resources he has.
  3. That would be great news. We sure need more pop in our lineup. We have too manyMendoza line type hitters in our lineup now. Eloy and Vaughn coming back soon would be very helpful.
  4. Naylor is Canadian imported by Cleveland. Still screw him along with Cleveland.
  5. Fortunately. Good rebound from last night disaster. Losing today would have gotten us in a funk.
  6. Maybe we will see him using a walker by the end of the season. It is not only the stress of the games, but also the travel which should be brutal for a guy his age.
  7. Someone needs to tell TA7 to stop hotdogging it. Swag in defense doesn’t work well. TA is non chalant in many plays like trying to be cool with fancy sideway throws, etc.
  8. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, TLR always has at least one bad move in his pocket in every darn game.
  9. Aren’t you contradicting yourself saying TLR is a good manager and the team only get up for games outside the division? Where is the leadership? The energy? Do the players fear TLR? I don’t think so.
  10. Right. They left the baes loaded on both occasions. No clutch hitting there.
  11. A J Hinch. Alex Cora. I know their current teams are not doing well now, but they are better managers than TLR.
  12. Yes it is. But TLR took the 9 th inning for granted when he brought our least experience MLB pitcher, Banks, in the 9 th. To get the 3 most difficult outs in baseball. I would have preferred Ruiz.
  13. And 8 RBIs after the 8 th inning. Something was wrong in our pitching to him. I guess fastballs down the middle with the bases loaded and with 2 on did not help. The memo now has to be don’t let Ramirez and Naylor beat us. Give them the Barry Bonds treatment if needed. Walk them or at least don’t throw them a strike in game situations.
  14. We need to put a fire under these guys asses, they need to focus, be less non chalant in the field, not take anything for granted. Does TLR has what it takes to kick some butt and re energize these guys?
  15. He should have taken at least a pitch on a 1-0 count, against a pitcher who had just walked three guys.
  16. Would have preferred they bring in Ruiz instead. No way you throw a strike to Naylor even if you walk him. You have Clement on deck. TLR keeps challenging the opponents best hitters in game situations: Buxton, Jose Ramirez, Naylor. I guess he doesn’t like intentional walks. Our D sucks but our manager does too.
  17. They should have given Engel the take sign until the pitcher, who had walked 3 hitters, throws a first strike. Dumb. We are the least patient team in the majors.
  18. You are right is not his fault. Still would have liked a more experienced reliever starting the 9 th. We have lost many games late to Cleveland in the last few years.
  19. Cleveland tieing the game was due to poor defense, primarily Moncada’s muff. Anderson defense has been horrible as well. Sox leading the majors in errors. TLR left Banks in too long or should have started the inning with a more proven reliever. The last three outs are the most difficult to get in baseball.
  20. Mirror image of each other one lefty and one righty.
  21. The bottom five are hitting .171, .214, ..170, ..146 and.191. Four out of five are below the Mendoza line. It’s brutal.
  22. At least, they moved him away from hitting Second.
