TLR is a bad bullpen manager particularly in the 8 th. He tries to over manage. He lacks the killer instinct with bullpen. Don’t screw around with unreliable relievers.

Leury is 10 for his last 20.not too shabby. Hitting next to Vaughn making him look even better. He is also a high energy guy. I like Leury nowadays.

Is the knee where the ball hit him in the dugout or was it due to his slide at the plate? Super Joe should not had sent him with no outs and also risk a collision at the plate.

Actually nowadays I prefer Leury with RISP than Vaughn.

I am glad Goodwin was not playing CF in the first inning. A’s probably would have had an inside the park homer. Not with La Pantera though.

I also agree. We giveaway too much outfield D with Goodwin, Vaughn and Sheets In the outfield. Need Engel I there as often as possible.
