1. Resting our two hottest players TA and Robert at the same time. 2. playing Goodwin, Mendick and Lamb at the same time. Terrible defense. 3. When Sox scored 2 runs in the 8th to make it 6-4, he stuck with a AAA pitcher,Wright,who promptly gave back the 2 runs. 4. no effort to come back not only leaving Wright in the 8 th. But not pinch hitting for Mendick and Lamb in the 9 th. I don’t say TLR cost us the game, but he sure looked like he punted with the lineup he put up.

Mendick and Goodwin were particularly bad.

We supposedly have one of the best bullpens in the league , score two runs and then leave a AAA pitcher in the 8th to give it right back. TLR only wants to use our best relievers when we are ahead. We need to keep close games close so we can come back.

TLR tried to give away Friday’s game as well but our guys refused.

Goodwin should be sent down to Charlotte ASAP. This way TLR can’t play him. He does not belong as a major league outfielder. He has been embarrassing.

You are right. However the point is that you should play your best infield behind a sinker baller. If TA couldn’t play for physical reasons and this was our best infield,so be it.

I prefer Leury to Goodwin. He is also a switch hitter.

TLR has not been a good manager of this team. He has been exasperating often with inexplicable bad decisions. Goodwin should not be in this lineup.

Goodwin has been exposed over and over as a terrible defensive CF but we keep playing him there. It’s hard to win with him in CF. He has also sucked offensively lately. With a Golden Sombrero yesterday. Don’t we have anyone better than Goodwin in our system?

Rays announcers roasting TLR for not having TA in the lineup today with a sinker baller like Keuchel on the mound. They say TA would have made 2 plays missed by Mendick who has poor range. They said smart move would have been to rest TA tomorrow instead. I agree.

TLR compounds the problem by hardly ever pinching hitting with our sitting boppers even in game situations.

Seby hit 20 homers in Charlotte in 2019, so he does have some pop.

TLR is in another alternate universe. If he wants to sit Anderson and Robert, just reconsider and sit only one of them. I would sit TA ahead of Robert. We can’t afford to have Goodwin playing CF. Why he doesn’t rest Hernández? TLR kills our momentum with these lineups.

Should have been Kimbrel vs Lowe. Lowe is hitting.235 and Randy is hitting .280. Kimbrel is future HOF pitcher. He can be taken out at any time. Bummer fails to get Randy out, he needs to stay to face some righties. Also TLR embarrassed Kimbrel by taking him out and threw him under the bus, that does not help clubhouse harmony.
