  1. 1: But Judge has been the most dangerous hitter in this series. 2. but it was a solo homer. Hendriks has given up 3 bombs with men on in the last 2 days. 3. Agree. But we should be more flexible with pinch hitters and DH. Rest our main guys against bottom feeders but not the Yankees.
  2. Liam big mistake was to let Judgebeat him. Judge has been a one man wrecking crew against the Soxin this series. Can’t throw him a strike or a fastball.
  3. I was referring to the 6th inning before Vaughn hit forLamb, he was available to pinch for Goodwin against the lefty and TLR inexplicably didn’t pull the trigger.
  4. It is unbelievable that TLR would let Goodwin hit twice against lefties late in a one run game. And leave in the outfield also. Goodwin should not be in our starting lineups, even against righties.
  5. Key take away from this game: - Don’t let Judge beat us. Even if you have to give him the Barry Bonds treatment- don’t throw him a strike, and certainly not a fastball. He beat us by himself. Also don’t let Gallo beat us either. - Kimbrel has to be the closer. Hendriks is giving up too many homers as a closer. - We need to put our best players in the lineup regardless of matchups. That means no Lamb at DH, no Mendick pinch hitting, no Goodwin in the outfield.
  6. You are 100% right. It is inexcusable to let Goodwin in to face the lefty instead of pinch hitting Vaughn. TLR has an inexplicable love affair with both Leury and Goodwin. Goodwin D is also crappy. He should not be in the lineup even against righties.
  7. I would have liked for Vaughn to have pinched hit for Goodwin in the 6th, with the lefty reliever having to stay in the game, rather than having to face the righty flame thrower instead. Also Goodwin stayed in the game late with his crappy D.
  8. 5 tool player for years to come. Hope he stays healthy and does not collide with Goodwin, Eloy or Leury in the outfield.
  9. I rather see Engel or Vaughn is RF instead of Goodwin.
  10. Unfortunately we have Goodwin playing there and have to sweat out any ball That is hit that way.
  11. TLR is obsessed with having lefty righty matchups, no matter how crappy the lefty is. TLR is old school, not a metrics guy. Vaughn should have been in this lineup. His defense has been better than Goodwin also. He has also been hitting righties well
  12. I think choice for the 9 th should be dependent on matchups. If you have to face good fastball hitters with power you bring Kimbrel in, and if you are facing guys that can be blown away with 95+ fastballs you bring in Liam.
  13. Cubs team will be bad next year. Only Cubs fans will be watching other than the fans of the opponent.
  14. Maybe he should not be a lead off hitter, and don’t have to worry about taking walks. He could hit second?
  15. He has the swagger to lead the team to bigger and better things, and lead MLB into a new and modern era to widen its appeal.
  16. It was right to let Sevy hit, what I don’t understand is why our 27th man Mendick was pinch hitting in the 9th down a run.
  17. Are you serious? We have become a nation of conspiracy theories, many propagated on Twitter. No way this was scripted. Multimillionaires like Hendriks are not going to throw their careers and legacy away , and there is no guarantee that someone will hit a homer even on a cookie. Too many players would have had to be on it. It is implausible.
  18. Our bullpen despite Hendriks performance tonight is better than theYankees.
  19. Wonder what the audience was tonight. Tremendous exposure for MLB. All those homers and a Hollywood ending in such a wonderful setting. Tremendous exposure for African American stars Judge and Anderson. MLB needs to attract more African American athletes to the game.
  20. You spoke too son. Sox wins. No losing streak. Not a worry about the Tigers.
  21. Tim bails out Hendriks and the Sox. What a game. Fortunately, the Yankees bullpen sucks.
