We cannot let Jose Ramirez beat us tomorrow. He hurt us today again. We need tohave better pitch calling. We keep getting hurt by the fastball to hitters that can’t hit the off speed pitches. We also need Abreu and Yermin to deliver which they did not do today. I would also move Yermin down in the lineup.

The big mistake was pitching to Jose Ramirez with first base open, and throw him a cookie on 3-1 for a 2 run homer. 3rd game in past 2 years that Ramirez breat us with a late homer. Time to learn the lesson and don’t let Jose Ramirez beat us again. Pitch around the guy.

It was super dumb. Threw him a cookie right down the middle on a 3-1 count with 1st base open and a man on third in a tied game. You figure.

I only hang on TLR letting Jose Ramirez beat us, and leaving Anderson on the bench in the7th when we needed a homer.

Anderson had to pinch hit instead of Leury. We needed a 2 run homer. Another major factor in this loss was to let Jose Ramirez beat us. Let’s not try that in the next two games pls. TLR managing did not help either. Old school have to hit lefty vs righty regardless of the cutter. Same as giving up outs with bunt.

Don’t let Jose Ramirez beat you once again. Guess Lambert wasn’t around when Ramirez killed the Sox with homers past seasons. But Grandal was and should have known better not to walk him or at least not throw a strike to this MF.

At least he is making contact. Only 4 strike outs in his last 7 games. The other question is who you replace him with that is better.

He did not get the message to not let Jose Ramirez beat you. They should have walked him.

The guy has a 7.71 ERA in AAA. If we don’t have anyone better we got a problem.

Bummer redeemed himself today. However, he needs to cut down on the walks if he wants to be successful reliever going forward.

Stoney called this out on TV as well. Calling a fast ball again to Naylor was inexplicable, particularly when he cannot hit a slider.

Still Eaton misplayed the play and Naylor line drive should have been caught.

Pitch selection/calls by dugout/Collins/carlos have not been good today.

Think Collins is a worse hitter than Leury.

Madrigal should be hitting second. We had hit the jackpot with him at second. Ideal hit and run guy when Anderson gets on base. Table setting for Yoan and Jose with minimal strikeouts. Lamb should be hitting 6 th instead of Eaton. Our lineup today 6 thru 8th is bad.
