Our guys have a hard time manufacturing runs. Don’t take walks and too much swinging for the fences and swinging at pitches out of the zone, and not making contact. We live and die by the home run.

At least he came back striking out last two batters. Dodged a bullet. Need to get at least 2 runs in the top of the 10th.

A reliever walking people in a tied game bottom of the 9 th is not a formula for success.

He is very naive and incompetent if he is blindly trusting people like TA and not adjusting after one failure and another. How much longer is he going to wait to make necessary changes and kick some butt?. Seems to be afraid to offend the players. Not a good manager, more suitable for coach.

We would be up 5-4 if Anderson would have moved the runner over. But yes you are right the main culprit was ReyLo.

If we lose this game, most of the blame should be on TA for failing to move the runner to third with no outs. IMO.

Would have been better than ReyLo because Kelly has better breaking pitches than ReyLo who is more susceptible to the homer with the straight fast ball. IMO.

You are right. Grifol was a coach for like 10 yrs at perennial loser KC and never promoted to manager.

Agree. Grifol is as bad as TLR.

Needed to move the runner over at least. He moves a runner we would have had a run already. I am fed up with Grifol keeping TA as lead off hitter.

Part of the blame should be on Grandal for failing to catch that popup and cost Cease a few more pitches.
