  1. Pollock is 35, so career slashes are unlikely to be repeated in his mid to late thirties. We need to cut back on overpriced older veterans on their way down.
  2. TLR was the wrong manager for this team. He didn’t make anyone accountable, was low energy, and a bad field manager. Needed a younger, modern, hard ass manager that was a better on field manager and motivator and not afraid to kick some ass.
  3. Sox is being run by three lawyers: JR, Hahn and TLR.maybe we need real modern baseball people to run the team, and these guys retire or move to practice law.
  4. They are a bunch of losers laughing all the way to the bank. Hahn overpaid a lot of them.
  5. They could have had Joc Pederson for $7M one year, less than some of our relievers.
  6. Some heads have to roll. This sweep by the awful Tigers put the final nail on some people’s coffins. Need accountability.
  7. It was shameful how the Sox let Baez embarrass them in this series. The memo was not circulated that we should not throw anything close to a strike to Baez even if it hits him. In agreement to pitch him “inside, way inside” tomorrow.
  8. Kelly is better than Diekman but that is not much to tell, they both have sucked.
  9. Bringing in the awful Diekman to pitch the 7 th in a close game, shows that the Sox have mailed it in, and don’t care to win or not.
  10. Dodgers announced tonight that Kimbrel has been demoted from the closer role. Another great Hahn talent evaluation that doesn’t pan out albeit in another team.
  11. The Whole Sox team has mailed it in. Can’t even beat the awful Tigers at home. We suck and it is a major embarrassment to the team and the fans. Some heads have to roll. The decision to bring in the rookie Lambert to protect a 3-1 lead in the 7 th against the Guardians, having ReyLo available turned out to be the worst decision of the year, and shut the door on the Sox season. Even Cairo admitted it was a mistake. Too many. Unforced errors this season.
  12. Looks like Lambert is not the answer. Comes in the 8 th and promptly gives the dreaded lead off walk who eventually scores, like he did in the Cleveland series..
  13. Once again, we get hurt by a breaking pitch to the rookie agreene after being blown byvReyLo fastballs before. Seems like most critical hits on Sox pitchers have been on breaking pitches, mostly hangers. If our pitchers have the good heat, don’t screw around with breaking pitches in game situations.
  14. And how slow our runners are. Almost impossible to get an infield hit, avoid a double play, go from 1st to 3 rd on a base hit, getting to catchable balls in the outfield, executing a hit and run, etc. and comparing to the Guardians we are a bad joke.
  15. We keep throwing strikes to Baez. Throw everything to him in the dirt or way outside or face high. He doesn’t like to take walks. Sox don’t adjust.
  16. No surprise there. Opposing pitchers going deep as Sox are swinging at everything. Sox need homers or several hits to score runs with no walks and very slow running hitters. Not a formula for success.
  17. Not starting Sheets yesterday was another Cairo blunder.
  18. Can Moncada be asked for a salary refund or a salary cut? His performance has not been in line with his outsize salary.
  19. Sox team today are best compared to a crab as they only move sideways and backwards, and lately is mostly backwards. At this time we are the Chicago Crab Sox. Put an image of a crab on the uniform or on the charity tee shirt.
