Admire this guy for his honesty, but he should be looking for a new job just in case. Dissent in this organization is not welcome. -

This supports Wilbon comments on ESPN recently that if the Sox would have had Francona as manager instead of TLR, Sox would have been 20 games over .500. -

Moncada should have bunted or try a double steal with Abreu at the plate. Abreu is leading the majors in DPs hit. -

The Guardians would have made it to third. At least we had runner in motion and avoided the dreaded double play. -

Right on. Another unforced error letting TLR hang around too long, and waste our window, when most everybody knew that it was the wrong move. The Sox let this captain sink the ship unnecessarily. -

The Guardians are running us out of the park. They are going first to third on every single with man on first, they bunt, they steal, they are very aggressive, It is completely the opposite of the slow, slumbering, station to station Sox. We need to get more speed into our lineup and better outfield defense for next season. -

The hope for the Sox to make the playoffs ended when Cairo brought in Jimmy Lambert to protect a 3-1 lead late against Cleveland , having ReyLo available. Even Cairo admitted after the game that he didn’t manage well the most critical game of the year. Sox need to bring in a new, Proven manager that can impart managerial skills and accountability. -

This team has mailed it in already. Question now is whether they will end the season ahead of the Twins or not. -
Guardians are running us out of the park tonight. Everybody going from 1 st ro 3 rd. On singles, and stealing bases at will. It has been a humiliation of the Sox tonight.
-
The Guardians are the Sox opposite in working the counts and looking for their pitch, while running up our pitchers counts. The Sox need to change their hitting. Modus operandi of swinging away at most every pitch. We get hurt by opponent starters going long, and our guys not going beyond the 6 th and getting disasters like lambert in the7 th last night. We need to play smarter.
-
And not go very fast.
-
For the Sox to score three runs they need to get either a 3 run homer or hit at least six singles. Don’t count on walks.
-
Both Abreu and Moncada have mailed in on defense. Their mind is elsewhere.
-
Bottom line Cleveland is a better team than the Sox, including the manager. Like someone mentioned the other night inMLB network, theSox have more individual talent but the Guardians have a better team.
-
Moncada has mailed it in. He wants to go to make his next music video. That is what guaranteed money does to many of these guys. They should earn their pay. Pay for performance not guaranteed like most other people in the world.

The Diekmann inning just moved too fast. Had to call a time out with visit to the mound. I would have preferred Ruiz pitch to the righties to begin the inning. Game was lost giving up the 3-1 lead with Lambert a rookie pitching in the 7 th instead of ReyLo.
-
I wanted Sheets in the lineup against the righty. His bat has been good.
-
Cairo completely screwed up the bullpen management tonight.
-
Hahn should be fired.
-
ReyLo and Hendrik did well. It was just poorly managed not maintaining the 3-1 lead.
-
Not pitching ReyLo in the 7 th was criminal. Once again Sox showed no sense of urgency and desperation. The season is over. The towel was thrown in the 11 th. Good night.
-
Another walk that scores in extras. I would have taken my chances with Ruiz instead of Diekmann against all those righties. Diekmann fastball is too flat. It is hard to beat the Guardians in extras. Lambert move cost us this game. Guardians are embarrassing us in the 11 th.
-
The bullpen also has been badly mismanaged.
-
It is. We don’t make adjustments and exceptions. Too formulaic. Don’t take into account situations and pitch counts. ReyLo was a starter at onetime. They are probably worrying about not having a reliever available tomorrow if they get extended. But there may be no tomorrow.

Jose went clutch this time! Wow!
