    Harrison’s boot cost us 3 runs at the end. His D has been bad recently. Why is he in the lineup when Romy is doing better and Josh is not hitting well anyway?

    Pollock screwed up. Thought it was a homer. Now Big Energy boots another. Wish Romy was at 2 nd again today. Josh D has been bad lately. Terrible defensive inning so far.

    Real bad. Our guys refuse to work counts and take walks. With RISP it gets worse.

    The offense did not deliver. Usual maladies: no clutch hitting, not scoring a man on 3 rd with less than two outs, refusing to take walks and swinging at pitchers way out of the zone, power outage, etc.

    I think that runner would have probably scored later anyway with one out there was a deep ball hit.

    Need to go all out to pass the Guardians before those 6 games with KC. If we are behind the Guardians with 6 games to go, then it’s going to be very tough.

    AJ outfield defense is also much better than Vaughn.

    Vaughn should only be playing at 1B or DH. Can’t afford his awful defense in the outfield in a pennant race.

    Good lineup. Got everybody back except TA. No Leury. Grandal finally down to hitting 8 th.

    Sox make it more difficult by not adding any runs to early leads. Grandal hitting 5 th has hurt us today. He should be hitting lower in the order IMO.

    Yes, home runs tend to minimize the defensive shortcomings damages.

    I think Vaughn is our Jose Canseco Memorial Award candidate. I am always afraid on deep balls his way that one is going to hit him on the head and go over the fence.

    The Royals are not pushovers. They have some very good hungry young players. They have beaten up the Sox this season. They should be able to beat the Guardians in one or two games IMO.

    Andrew is the worst defensive outfielder in modern Sox history that I can recall.

    Would have liked Robert hitting second instead, to also hit and run with Abreu if feasible. Two slow guys back to back takes the running game out of the equation.

    If Yoan is back he should be playing 3 rd base today. Our defense has been bad. Today Vaughn is already looked bad again now in RF, and Grandal has been bad behind the plate costing us a run.
