  1. It is an OK lineup. Wish we had better 2nd base options than Harrison.
  2. TLR would have been run out of town, and the tabloid press would have destroyed him on an everyday basis.
  3. Hits into too many double plays. Not enough balls up in the air. Very slow runner. PRetty bad OF defense.
  4. In hindsight we should have started Cease today. We need to treat these games as playoff games and win one at a time. We looked beyond KC to the Baltimore series, when KC has been kicking out butts in KC.
  5. After some reflection today’s loss is primarily on TLR for the following reasons: - Not pulling Kopech right out of the game - Not pinch hitting Sheets for Harrison with men on second and third late with less than 2 outs, when Harrison had failed on these situations over and over. - Not having ReyLo pitch the 7 th after facing just one batter in the 6 th, and brought Graveman early instead. We ended up with Graveman in the 7 th and Kelly/ Ruiz in the dreaded 8 th blowing the game open. It should have been ReyLoin the 7 th, Graveman in the 8 th and Hendriks in the 9 th if needed. I rest my case, we are not going to make the playoffs with TLR as manager. He needs to resign.
  6. Send the memo to TLR. Did not pinch it late for Josh with two men in scoring position and less than 2 outs and failed once again.
  7. You helped making it lousier in this game today. You have been lousy in most every game this season. The buck should stop in the field with you. You have been unable to adjust and keep doubling down on your mistakes. You should resign immediately.
  8. You are absolutely right. No sense of urgency again from TLR. Harrison strikes out stays in the game and makes an error right away. Sheets a potential home run hitter stays on the bench The whole game against a bunch of righty pitchers.
  9. We keep doubling down on the same mistakes and somehow then expect a better outcome.
  10. Bullpen mismanagement and not pinch hitting for Harrison in the7 th with men at 2 nd and3 rd with one out were also reasons.
  11. Give him a take sign next time. I don’t think a take sign is in the TLR playbook. Must be an unwritten rule. AlsoVaughn should not be hitting behind Abreu. Two slow runners hitting back to back, and no chance of a hit and run to avoid double play.
  12. Incompetent hitting by Mr. DP Vaughn. Look for your pitch. No need to swing on the first pitch.
  13. We are paying the price for Hahn’s obsessions with relievers. We should have used the money to get an everyday lefty position player like Joc Pederson instead.
  14. The Sox have outsucked KC. KC tried to give this game away but we would not oblige with lack of clutch hitting ,not pinch hitting for Harrison, and bullpen mismanagement amongst the reasons.
  15. Completely unacceptable to hit 2 batters for a reliever in a tied game. Don’t understand why Kelly didn’t pitch the 7 th instead and now we get Ruiz. TLR with another bullpen mismanagement. Stoney emphasized that Lopez was only used for one batter. Not pinch hitting for Harrison put us behind the 8 ball also.
  16. Not only he is not pinched hit for, he stays in the game and commits a hugh error next inning. TLR decisions cost us again.
  17. That was the play. No urgency from TLR again. Need to play every game as a playoff game like Francona said recently. Hard to win when we don’t score with men on third and less than 2 outs. Sheets should have hit for Big Energy.
