  1. I love these big leads. They make the games TLR proof.
  2. Jose didn’t want to be the new Yermin Mercedes and getting thrown under the bus by TLR. Only time in the game that TLR got excited when he wanted to apply the unwritten rule.
  3. No surprise. The Soxas a team do not work counts or take walks.
  4. Need the starting pitchers bear down and keep games close. Need the Sox to hit some homers.
  5. Curious stat, the Sox have the same record today as the Miami Marlins. Not good.
  6. What does reasonable mean? Reasonable for Eloy’s fragile standards? Sounds to me that TLR meant that it was not a major injury…
  7. This guy is so fragile. It is a shame.
  8. TLR was probably wearing an ear piece getting instructions from the FO of what to say.
  9. Can’t be worse than the Blackhawks after their recent fire sale. Making Hahn look good.
  10. I guess Montoyo was not buddy buddy with the Jays owners.
  11. You need to factor in, other criteria such as character, durability, professionalism, pride. Not just pure baseball skills.
  12. TLR ball. Makes no sense, particularly when he did not IBB Ramirez with men on second and third in a 1-0 game.
  13. Right on. We don’t take pitches and refuse to take walks. The more things change the more it remains the same.
  14. If TLR would have intentionally walked Ramirez, this could have been 2-1. Bieber was dealing but it is easier to complete a game, when we don’t take pitches. This team is hopeless. Doesn’t make adjustments.
  15. Martin got hurt by poor defense from Eloy, and not getting the memo of not letting Ramirez beat you. I would have walked Ramirezto get to Reyes, who is a righty and hitting .220.
  16. No surprise here. We are not hitting homers against most anybody, and Bieber is one of the best.
  17. With men in RISP Tim is invariably pulling the ball, mostly ground balls to third and short. With no one on , he goes the other way which is more effective for him. His double play ball late in this game hurt. Our hitters do not adjust.
  18. TLR ball. He needs to get thru 5 regardlesss.
  19. He was, and TLR predictably did not pull the trigger on time, and possibly gave the game away. He set his mind that Lynn had to go 5 no matter what.
  20. Should have been only 5 runs. Lynn should not have gone out in the 5 th as he was gassed. Thanks TLR for pulling another case of leaving the starter in too long. We never go all out to try to keep games close by using our best resources.
