  1. We need to get rid of TLR first. If we lose this series to the Tigers, TLR should have the decency of retiring or allow to be pushed out. He has lost this team and driven it to the ground. The team is an embarrassment today. How long can the Sox ownership/FO put up with this shit show, repeating mistakes over and over. We are now competing with the Tigers for third place instead of the Twins for first. As we cannot fire the whole team, let’s fire TLR now!
  2. Leury should not have been in this game. His hitting has been awful, and his positioning at second was bad in the Tigers rally. How can we expect to get back in the race playing a utility scrub likeLeury practically everyday.
  3. We should have had other options ready with a lower ERA. We need a good lefty reliever that we lack for situations like this. Losing Bummer hurts.
  4. And we could have had Joc Pederson, now named an All Star, for $6M, cheaper than Kelly. Thanks Hahn.
  5. Katz and TLRshould know better. In this inning though we needed a good left handed reliever. Kelly and his 9.5 ERA is not cutting it Either. Another 2 out rally by an opponent.
  6. Tony just did by leaving Lucas in too long again. TLR doubles down on this same mistake over and over leaving our starters too long.
  7. Skrubel has also shown a good change up and our hitters have been too anxious and impatient as usual.
  8. Like Hawk use to say the good change up is the toughest pitch to hit.
  9. No excuse for jogging into second with 2 outs and then not even sliding. He should have been at second in the first place as he didn’t run to second when the pitcher threw the ball into right field. Must be thinking about the All Star game and losing focus.
  10. Came back to haunt us along with the home run ball. Wow! This is why we needed to add runs when we had a chance. TA running and lack of hustle has sucked in this game big time.
  11. Our baserunning has been terrible. Two bad base running plays by TA in the same inning. He is jogging to 2 nd and then did not even slide. Wow! Not an All Star play.
  12. Right on. Although I would prefer Moncada and Harrison combo with Leury on the bench.
  13. It is time to add some runs, and not leave to our bullpen to hold up a 2 run lead.
  14. TLR runs this team with no sense of urgency. Like we have all the time in the world to get back in the division race. Resting sore legs for the playoff which may never come. Putting the cart before the horse. You see other contending teams playing their key players most every game. That is why they get paid big bucks for, not grabbing some bench.
  15. Homers are back with Robert’s first inning blast. Good way to start. Normally we win at home when we hit homers.
  16. Our leading RBI guy Abreu let us down swinging at a ball over his head, all we needed was a base hit not or even a sac fly not a homer. Seems that for us to win at home we need to hit homers, which we are only doing sporadically.
  17. Unfortunately, no homers tonight in the loss to the Tigers. At home, when we don’t hit any homers, we normally do not win.
  18. At least Gallo is a lefty and has a track record. I prefer him to Pollock. More power potential. He would not feel as much pressure here than with the Yankees and may work out.
  19. At the end of the day, Hahn has failed to fill out the Sox’s main needs which are a quality LH outfielder and a good 2 nd baseman, as well as a lefty slugger. We have a power outage until yesterdays game with Eloy back. He also hired one of the worst coaching and training staffs in MLB. He joins other Chicago bad GMs like the one who traded away the house for Mitch Trubistky, and all the bad moves by the Hawks, including todays bad trade of Alex De Brincat for three draft picks, only one in the first round. Didn’t get back any proven player and parted with our best player. This trade has been criticized by the experts. eSPN gave the Hawks a D and the Senators an A. Only explanation is that the Hawks were not going to spend the $ to resign DE Brincat, but they should have negotiated a better deal.
  20. Joc Pederson signed with the Giants this season for $6M, and with Joc we could have had 20 more home runs so far. Hahn has been awful signing lefty outfielders our main need.
  21. His Leury Legend T shirt will probably now replace the Steve and Jason Sox Charity T shirts next time around!
