I think experience is overrated in baseball anyway, the pace is so slow a manager has time to think things through, and the concepts are pretty basic at the end of the day. The only problem with lack of experience is the inability to judge their quality with confidence..

I replied earlier, but to clarify the full thought, this is correct. Players are responsible for themselves. You cannot expect a Spanish speaking manager to get a guy to focus on improving and then improving. That is done on the player side. There is no need to be concerned about the latino manager getting this team to play better if they speak English a second language. These guys are good pros or they aren’t.
