  1. going with Rodon is assininine. Read the situation guys. In an elimination game, Lets start the biggest question mark we have left why don’t we
  2. Abreu is more than fine. But there is a logjam behind him and the organization has to move forward. Its not working.
  3. They have to make some hard decisions. I think the Abreu era is over. A solid direction is needed, and it has to do with defense and the little things like baserunning. Some sacred cows may have to be sacrificed. The baseball character of this group is fatally flawed
  4. At this point, you don’t blame him as much as you blame the owner. Owners suck at decision -making for the most part, especially when they butt-in in front of baseball people. JR’s read on the team is wrong. They were not ready to go from point B to C.
  5. It is just not surprising for a bum slaying team that came down to earth after the ASB. Coasting off an easier schedule and hot streak. We didn’t want to believe that. They way this team doesn’t do the little things is very telling as far as upside. We will need a minor remodeling.
  6. He just needs to calm the eff down at trade deadlines and keep assets around.
  7. I think we waste assets out of desperation constantly. Rarely works. Failed template for this organization
  8. This organization has got to stop trading everyone away all the time and going all in at the deadline . So desperate and impatient. Jist keep everyone and load up. Why is that so hard.
  9. They probably are more leery of Crochet in high leverage situations in the playoffs. Or they were. Maybe next opportunity. Point for me is that if TLR sees a potential issue with a starter, it doesn’t help to lament things postgame.
  10. Kopech is only gonna be used when the starter is getting absolutely bombed?
  11. Add, or trade for defense, speed and baserunning. By any means necessary.
  12. He’s not right. Don’t even matter at this point what it is. Confidence he will straighten himself out in the post season has to be low. Not saying I wouldn’t pitch him again in the series. But I’m going with my young heathy mentally clear studs from here on out
  13. It is a non zero chance that thing is still sore and he is toughing it out. A lot of times you hear about these guys being fine, but also hear later about them getting a minor procedure done after the season is over.
  14. His body is healthy. That’s a start. Literally. Stop fucking around with the wounded ducks
  15. Just the same, it would be very disappointing if the Sox were willing to go out behind injured pitchers like Rodon and Lynn. They aren’t 100%, lets stop fucking around
  16. Basically if I could change the team, it would be trading for more speed, defense, OBP, hustle, better baserunning. Not sure trade what, but the team is not quite finished. Crochet and Kopech coming online will help close the gap. But the post all star break team is what these guys are. They can’t sustain themselves if they need to scratch for runs around crooked number innings. anyway, no time left to risk Rodon and Lynn. Go hard and aggressive game 2 and 3 with Giolito and Cease and let the chips fall where they may.
  17. Dusty talking about doing “the little things”. Kind of what the Sox lack if you could characterize their flaws
  18. My next 2 pitchers would be Giolito and Cease at this point. No party no disco. No fooling
  19. We gotta draw walks game 2. Scratch and claw. Get hit by a pitch again but start a fight next time. Shake these guys up. Can someone bunt on? Probably not lol
