There are a lot of holes in the team if you look at it comprehensively. I think the standard margin of calling off the hounds is about 10 runs and a position pitcher on the mound. Everyone has been telling the Twins to stop the Sox instead of complaining. I think we’ve got to be consistent.

We had run into some beat able pitchers before this series , but the lineup isn’t able to manufacture runs very well. I think the playoffs could be disappointing when that consistent pitching beats them down. Whoever they put in the outfield in the future needs speed, especially on the bases. Hopefully it is Cespedes.

IIRC, he was having chronic ankle stuff earlier in his career with the Sox.

His ERA looks good. But the blown saves haven’t. Im not sure how comparable he has been across the league, but its all about being clutch.
