  1. Harrison has a .774 OPS since June 1. Nobody else the Sox would put at 2B can come close to that.
  2. This would be really cool if it weren't in the middle of the day on a weekday.
  3. Jose is 2-13 vs Framber. I know they'll never do this, but he should really bat 6th-7th against him.
  4. Even last night's game winning bloop single was a center cut fastball that should have been hit out. I'm pretty convinced with him that his issues are physical and not an issue with attitude, work ethic, etc.
  5. On a completely unrelated note, Tony just bought a new car and remodeled his kitchen.
  6. The big problem is that there isn't anybody useful to bring up if you do put him on the IL, so as long as he's going to be out < 10 days, it's better to play a man down for several days so you can get him back earlier.
  7. I'd definitely put in a claim on Yolmer. Even if he's not better than Sosa, he pushes Sosa back down to AAA where he can play every day and continue to develop.
  8. This. There's not a huge difference between Sheets and Vaughn in RF, so you put Leury in the spot where's he less likely to have to hit and that was Vaughn's spot.
  9. I know the pitching matchups aren't favorable, but the Sox really need to win one of these last two. 3-1 vs the Astros sends a message.
  10. Lambert has been good lately but sticking him into a tie game with Lopez and Graveman both available is risky.
  11. So, Leury in Vaughn's spot instead of Sheets' spot so he comes up 2 spots later in the lineup?
  12. Hah, I forgot Eloy was DH last night. No that doesn't make sense then.
  13. That's not a bad move. Have to upgrade your defense in the late innings with a 2 run lead.
  14. Yes, the Sox won, but because the offense sucked, they had to burn their three best relievers backing up Kopech's 6 no-hit innings instead of being available to back up Gio tonight.
  15. Didn't watch the game but what a joke. Two fucking runs against a pitcher the Cubs released. The pitching staff deserves a real offense.
