If Colas is going to be ready for 2023, there's no room for another outfielder unless one of Eloy, Vaughn or Abreu is not on the team in 2023. I know Abreu is the obvious answer since his contract is up but does anybody believe that the Sox would actually let him go?
Seems like the failure to get an agreement on an international draft, resulting in the continued existence of the qualifying offer, impacted this trade deadline.
Carlos Rodon and Wilson Contreras almost certainly would have been moved if their teams couldn't get draft pick compensation for them.
So to ease the pain of the trade deadline by dad is cracking open a good bottle of scotch and he's going to let me have some, so I'm not responsible for anything I post after a while.
First pitch at trade deadline + 2:10, NBCSC
RHP Brad Keller, 5-11, 4.18 vs RHP Lucas Giolito, 6-6, 5.14
Need someone to tell our hitters to "be the ball"
