If this is just a big tease then they are doing a good job of it! Maybe these players just needed a bit of pressure and a rapidly approaching season end to finally concentrate minds, and all this without TA.

Criticise Mcguire all you want for his extra curricular pastimes but the point remains that what he said suggesting lack of ambition in the White Sox clubhouse does sound right and he is not the first person to suggest it.

Unfortunately we will just have to 'imagine' it because Robert and Jimenez seem so injury prone but it does give some hope for the future if they can stay fit at the same time.

Lynn has done a decent enough job today, but time to hand it over to the bullpen and hope they can finish the job.
