Did I read a tweet from you about Reinsdorf considering AJ! I can’t find it now, so I may be making this up. That would be so typical Reinsdorf White Sox. One fuck up after another.
I couldn’t decide on a 5th so I went with the guy who won the title. I almost went with Bob Lemon as #5. I’ve been a fan since ‘72. Too young to really remember if Tanner was good just liked him because he managed “my” team. I really like Torborg and think Lamont is underrated. I know I’m in the minority, but I didn’t mind Manual and never liked Ozzie even as they were winning it all.
I thought the rule pertained to big time players.
“He’s a big-time player and he got a big-time hit, and that was a big-time arm out there. He’s special. I mean that was huge for us.”
Never mind…still applies.
My question is how does that compare to the rest of the league. It seems like it’s a horrific number, but in a vacuum it doesn’t tell you much. If I were guessing I’d say it is at or near the bottom. However, I don’t know that.
I haven’t read any of the posts. This may have been stated already. I’d like to see the core with a new coaching staff and a GM who is able to fill the apparent needs. None of this matters until there is new ownership, IMHO.
